I installed the MOD and i cant hear it btw the music is fantastic i must be doing something wrong or wrong order, does the load order matters?

Great! I like the original tracks of the game but it becomes quickly repetitive, your mod is a must have for me :)

I haven’t use much of calamitious, I suggest you ask in their forums. From my part, Im using the default game cues and adding my music to the list. That is all Im doing. That should be enough to get an answer from the community. Good luck 🙌🏼

Mod Updated, New battle tracks added and mixed down my music to be on par with the game's default volume.

Glad to hear it works! Maybe I’ll do a separate pack to go with it, if I ever download that mod.

-Yes the music is louder in comparison to base game. I tried to balance the vanilla ones too by raising the volume so that you can lower it with the volume slider in game. Probably in a future iteration I’ll mix to a lower volume my tracks and leave the rest as is.

The only music removed from the game was battle tracks, which I replaced with my own. the rest is a mix of mine and vanilla, with the exception of one or 2 at the beginning of the game. I guess that means I nailed it ❤️

Yes I enjoy calm tracks, but its a bit hard to portray “Calm and also gritty”, specially for the green area at the north. Im open to suggestions. To avoid spamming, feel free to write me on discord

Team of Savage Wilds confirmed that their map is using the basegame triggers, ergo this mod will work with it. For anyone wondering, yes it does, worked wonderfully in my tests.

- Rather loud compared to vanilla tracks though, my only con.
- I also can't tell if it's replacing the music in Conan or adding.

Thank you HDR! Hope you will continue to improve and add more tracks. I'm a big fan of calm and exploration pieces, personally.

If they are using the same music triggers as the base game, then you’ve got 50/50 chance of working. You can download and get into a battle, and see if my music is there.

Seems 6F on Exiled Lands is some sort of musical void, perhaps because of the Unnamed City. I dunno how music is set up in the game.
Would it be possible to add your fantastic tracks there as well?

@HDR yeah I figured it would be a pain, you'd have to extract all the tracks and level match them, then repack. Surprised there isn't some kind of Normalize function in dev tools, maybe if I get ambitious I'll take a look. ;) Thanks for checking out

@easyastro hi thanks for the input. The tracks of the game sway so much in volume that its hard to balance against mine. I tried to use the dev tools to fix it, but without actually grabbing the tracks and processing through a daw, re importing, rinse and repeat, Im not sure I can get it right. It's too much work for me right now. I do have to fix and will get to it eventually. Thank you :)

Checking the mod out... listening through the tracks. The level balance vs the vanilla tracks is at least so far is off. I think you are about 9dB or so louder, maybe you normalized your tracks?

I haven't done any music modding for CE yet, but is there a way to normalize the original music to match? Or you could take down your?

I see. Would it be worth lowering the mod's music volume to match the vanilla ones? That way it would solve the incompatibility issue with Siptah or any custom map mods.

@Assault potato, I made the music on exiles louder on purpose to give you more room to turn it up or down, and to also be more consistent with the loudness of my music. I dont own Siptah… but also I dont think Siptah is available in the mod kit, so there’s nothing I can do about that at the moment. Apologies 👍

There seems to be an inconsistency in music volume, the siptah music is too quiet whereas the music in Exile lands is too loud.

Hello everyone, there was an issue that wouldnt let you lower volume for music. Special thanks to @Vir and @Shebad for bringing this to my attention. I believe it has been fixed and I've updated the mod. Sorry for the inconvenience. :steamhappy:

Probably sorted out just by put your mods (music and fx overhaul) top on the modlist.


For now only the Wind and sometimes rain/thunderstorm are problem for me and my players (not updating after bad weather or die/teleport). But it's not related to music mod of course :)

@Vir hi, Im sorry to hear that… I’ve tested the mod (single player with no mods, except my own) but I haven’t had any issues. I dont think there’s anything in my mod that could cause that issue since Im just replacing default music for my music; a 1 click and done affair. Only way there could be issues (very low chance) is if you are running another music pack, or something that changes how music works since my mod is intended to be used as the only music pack.

Now, personally, I think if you are using a very old save with multiple mods, something along the way might’ve broken since the game has been updated a lot. In that case, it might be better to start a new save. I always do this when games get mayor updates like Skyrim, Conan, No man sky, etc.

Sadly no one is reporting bugs so its either my mod is ok, people haven’t noticed, or the issue is exclusive to your save. :(

@Vir hey there! Its no really an issue, its just that some tracks from the game are too loud or too quiet. You could set your music volume at 80 and one track will sound like its on 60 and another will sound like its on 100. So Im trying to balance it so that all of them sound more or less the same.
