This is a mod I now always have installed :) it adds so much realism to the game, also makes it easier to see if i actually did damage to certain creatures

Wow, this not only adds color to the game, but also contributes to the mystery of the world. It's a bit scary to see blood where you haven't been yet (in this cycle).

you know what would be cool? a setting to randomise blood collors on the same creature. imagine fighting a bunch of scavangers and the whole place being a rainvbow of diffrent colors! that would be so pretty

@Silobugz i just don't know if it would be realistic, or possible in some situations.
it would be funny, to make blood have paint-like properties, but is it code-wise, possible? and immersiveness in this respect is determined by who you are, and it might seem cool in theory, but, when added, some (or maybe lots) (of) players might dislike it. up to the dev, just some thoughts.

Spoilers for the watcher. You know the badlands mechanic about covering yourself with mud or paint? So imagine if a creature bleeds it gets slightly covered in blood (like the mud/paint stuff), and if the is slugcat too close it gets all bloody too. Don't know how hard it may be tho

also rot cysts are often different colors.
- all mobile rot cysts can have their colors changes to anything with a simple change to a region settings file (examples: blue BLLs in RM, brown DLL in LM/SL, green BLLs and DLLs in HH)
- DLLs in inv's campaign have the color and size of TLLs due to an AlternateForm tag
- BLLs in spearmaster and artificer's campaigns are exactly identical to DLLs due to a hardcoded attribute of their campaign

can you make it possible to make the blood color of a lizard correspond to its color variation. setting specific blood colors for blue/orange/pink lizards to try and make them match the lizard's glow color doesn't work, cause sometimes they'll just be a different color anyway.

My game had been bricked on a black screen trying to load the menu since Watcher launched and enabled my mods again, so I checked exception log and saw this was listed as one of the bugged mods. I planned to go thru each mod listed in exception log, but I unsubscribed from Blood first and that got it to load the menu...I don't have the exception log text to show the error but I didn't think this one was the culprit at all. Just thought I'd mention it

Updated, the new creatures now have their own default colors you can select with the two preset buttons. It also makes the new rotted variants bleed purple

Unfortunately the blood does not interact with the new terrain effect found in the new regions as the decal shader used for the blood splatters does not render on top of it.

This HAS worked for me with Watcher and on most of the new creatures, havent hurt them all yet, but no issues detected. Initially, didnt work, then magically began working yesterday or day before...anyway sick mod.

This is a must have imo. Not only this is very entertaining and beautiful, but it can be useful as well in terms of you can see where fights happened and what kind of danger awaits you.

This is only minor criticism and it's not that big a deal because the colors of the blood are easily customizable but it feels weird and wrong for the lizards to have blood correlating to the color of their bodies as opposed to just having Red blood. I understand that it's a default parameter and can be easily changed, it just seems like a weird decision to have them be so bright and vibrant like that.


Of course maybe I'm overthinking and this could just be an auto-picking situation to try and make it more widely compatible.
