@Crosspike yes, there are. But you'll only need them if you use SA items.
Crosspike 21 Mar @ 3:23pm
Is there a patch for Swabian Armory? Or does it not need one?
Snipass  [author] 20 Mar @ 4:45pm
@Crosspike no, only for Vlandian Steel.
Crosspike 20 Mar @ 2:10pm
Is this mod a patch for the Swadian Armory mod too?
Snipass  [author] 15 Feb @ 3:28am
@Beltron with pleasure
Snipass  [author] 15 Feb @ 3:28am
@DonnyTheDealer you have a very particular way of writing “I have a problem, I can't get it to work.” Because it works just fine, I've just tested it.

Have you installed Vlandian Steel or Vlandian Steel Items ? Did you put the patch underneath in your load order ?
Beltron 15 Feb @ 3:11am
@Snipass Got it! Thanks 4 u attention
DonnyTheDealer 14 Feb @ 9:34am
Not working...
Snipass  [author] 13 Feb @ 1:28am
@Beltron I've never tested it in PM so I can't say for sure, but I can't see why it wouldn't work.
Beltron 12 Feb @ 1:22pm
@Snipass Yes, siiir
Snipass  [author] 12 Feb @ 1:01pm
@Beltron multiplayer, you mean?
Beltron 12 Feb @ 5:53am
MP mod?
twarns1 22 Jan @ 10:36am
I forgot I could even move things tbh, I just press go and everything works lol
twarns1 22 Jan @ 10:33am
Maybe
Snipass  [author] 22 Jan @ 8:53am
@twarns1 possible. Did you install VS or VS items and place the VS RBM module underneath ?
twarns1 22 Jan @ 5:25am
Intresting maybe I had a conflicting mod
Snipass  [author] 21 Jan @ 9:02am
@twarns1 I've just tested it and it still works
twarns1 20 Jan @ 3:01pm
doesnt work no more
Snipass  [author] 20 Dec, 2024 @ 3:10am
@Boogieman hey, if you only use Vlandian Steel items, then no, you don't need SA's RBM patch. VS uses SA's 3D models, which is why the mod is a prerequisite, but all VS items are unique to VS.
Boogieman 19 Dec, 2024 @ 3:07pm
Small question... When using this, should I subscribe to the original Swadian armory or swadian armory RBS? Just asking since the base vlandian steel mod requires tth base Swadian armory mod...
Snipass  [author] 12 Dec, 2024 @ 2:45am
@Sleepy with no further context it's hard to say.

Values arent changing for RBM, any tips?
☭Ⓐʳᵗ🅡🅣´꒳`ᰔᩚ 29 Jul, 2024 @ 4:48pm
That's great to know!
Snipass  [author] 29 Jul, 2024 @ 9:03am
@Obsdiangolem this compatibility patch is totally independent of RBM, it modifies the armor values of VS items to balance them with those of RBM so there's no reason why it shouldn't be compatible with it.
☭Ⓐʳᵗ🅡🅣´꒳`ᰔᩚ 28 Jul, 2024 @ 6:40pm
I wonder if this is compatible with newest version of RBM
Snipass  [author] 28 Jun, 2024 @ 1:40am
@zinthos001 what do you mean by "save game compatible"? If you want to know if you can add the VS RBM compatibility patch and remove it during a game, then the answer is yes. On the other hand, if you can add Vlandian Steel during a game, you can't remove it without corrupting your save. What's more, adding VS during a game won't let you enjoy all the mod's content (Vlandian Lords, for example, will retain their vanilla equipment).
zinthos001 28 Jun, 2024 @ 1:30am
Is this save game compatible or nah?
Snipass  [author] 5 Mar, 2024 @ 1:21pm
@BrokenBuck in itself it doesn't create any problems (except if you do it on a game you've already started) but otherwise it just deletes the items added by SA without any other impact on the game.

What I mean by duplicated items is that Vlandian Steel uses SA's 3D models, so for each 3D model you end up with 2 items, one from SA and one from VS. They'll be visually identical, but their armor values won't be the same.

And the reason I've recreated items specific to Vlandian Steel is that in vanilla, the armor values of SA items are too high for balanced use against troops using vanilla items.
BrokenBuck 5 Mar, 2024 @ 10:58am
Hmmm, if I find any issues with the way I've done it I very much may ask for your help in trying to do it the way that you've done it, but I'm not sure what issues would present themselves. What do you mean by duplicate items? Just multiple of basically the same item showing up in a shop because of the duplicates from swadian armory?
Snipass  [author] 5 Mar, 2024 @ 10:56am
@BrokenBuck indeed, Vlandian Steel creates its own items and only uses Swadian Armoury's 3D models. So if you have a mod that uses all the existing items, it's going to take SA's, and my patch for RBM doesn't correct the values of these items.

You can either use the RBM patch from SA, as you've found, or you can delete the SA items (which is what I'm doing), which avoids having duplicate items.

If you're interested in this solution, don't hesitate to let me know, I'll be able to help you if need be.
BrokenBuck 5 Mar, 2024 @ 10:05am
Installing swadian armory RBM patch via the methods nexus mods suggests would seem to fix this issue.
BrokenBuck 5 Mar, 2024 @ 9:27am
I have located the source of the issue. To use vlandian steel and vlandian steel RBM you must use swadian armory as a base instead of being able to use swadian armory RBM patch, this makes it so there are loads of left over items with improper values that if you use dynamic troop equipment will be given out to people, it's a foundational problem because of swadian armory.
BrokenBuck 5 Mar, 2024 @ 8:33am
It's so bad with many items that the only conclusion I can come to other than it being frequently very poorly adjusted is that I'm having some sort of compatability issue for some reason even though I'm running vlandian steel above this in the load order, though I will run a test to see if I'm schizoing out super hard and this is actually on my end and some sort of compatability problem
BrokenBuck 5 Mar, 2024 @ 8:30am
I should start off by saying I love the mod, it's great work, the armor looks fantastic. However, there are numerous armor pieces that seem to either have not been adjusted for RBM or adjusted very poorly. Numerous headpieces that are plate helmets with only like 50 head armor and 0 body armor, being comparably straight up garbage to any decent helmet in RBM, and far worse than good aserai or imperial helmets. Many armor pieces that are plate are just straight up awful compared to like any lamellar armor which is so stupid, please fix.
Snipass  [author] 4 Mar, 2024 @ 1:33pm
@BrokenBuck the main thing is that you've managed to solve your problem and that the mod is working properly ;)
BrokenBuck 4 Mar, 2024 @ 1:13pm
about what I said, I'm schizo and I take it back, it was mod conflict, love your work sweetie <3 :steamthumbsup::income::winter2019joyfultearsyul::winter2019coolyul:

Painted roundtop helm and a few other headpieces don't appear to be working properly, I've been 1hit ko'd numerous time by basic weapons because I get hit in the head and it doesn't absorb even a single point of damage.
[TPPL] King Leonidas 17 Feb, 2024 @ 2:25am
you are bringing walking tanks to 9th century setting. there is a reason halberds where made. this is like at the minimum 14 century plate armour.
Snipass  [author] 17 Feb, 2024 @ 1:57am
@Menarini if you find them too strong with RBM, that's possible. I don't use the mod, so I didn't invest much time in the compatibility patch; I compared them with the values of the original mod, and I got help, but in the end I never really played with them.
At the same time, a patch like this will never satisfy everyone, and there will always be a clash between those who, like you, are looking for a balanced gaming experience, and those who will tell you that since it's plate armor, the protection values need to be much higher.

In vanilla, on the other hand, I deliberately lowered the armor protection values to balance the mod with the vanilla factions, even though Vlandian Steel makes the Vlandians more technologically advanced.
[TPPL] King Leonidas 16 Feb, 2024 @ 11:03am
well your the one who downloaded full plate armour in a 8-9 century setting
Menarini 16 Feb, 2024 @ 10:44am
In my opinion the units are too strong. Its breaks the balance of game
Snipass  [author] 15 Feb, 2024 @ 9:01am
@[TPPL] King Leonidas for armor values that don't suit you, you can always edit the vlandiansteel_RBM.xml file, available by following the path below: C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Mount & Blade II Bannerlord\Modules\VlandianSteelRBM\ModuleData
This will allow you to adjust the values as you see fit.

The problem of the invisible helmet comes from Swadian Armoury, ADSN hasn't put the latest version of the mod on Steam and I'm using assets from the latest version (which is only available on Nexus) hence the fact that some helmets are invisible.
[TPPL] King Leonidas 15 Feb, 2024 @ 6:17am
it's the one with the eagle crest by the way. i forgot to add the ornate great helmet with the eagle crest
[TPPL] King Leonidas 15 Feb, 2024 @ 6:16am
it's not showing up at all. also you might want to consider rebalancing some of the helmets to reflect reailty more of the mod more the imperial visour helmet having more base armour unupgraded than your helmets. and make some helmets add Neck armour as they have the models for that. the hounskull.
Snipass  [author] 15 Feb, 2024 @ 6:10am
@[TPPL] King Leonidas what do you mean the model is bugging out?
[TPPL] King Leonidas 15 Feb, 2024 @ 5:39am
right i did this. however ornate great helmet model is bugging out. it did this before i edited this so. i assume that's a part of your mod. i simply thought it was a part of the swadian
Snipass  [author] 15 Feb, 2024 @ 3:54am
@[TPPL] King Leonidas this will delete all equipment added by SA, including that which you have already bought. Incidentally, if you do this, don't forget to unequip any pieces of armor from SA, as this will corrupt your save if you don't (if the equipment is in your inventory, it will simply be turned into a "trash item").
[TPPL] King Leonidas 15 Feb, 2024 @ 3:17am
will this remove equipment i've already bought or just remove them from the store?
Snipass  [author] 15 Feb, 2024 @ 1:12am
@[TPPL] King Leonidas if you don't want Swadian Armoury items to spawn, you can always modify the mod yourself (that's what I do for my own use):

You need to edit SA's items.xml file, which you can find by following this path: C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Mount & Blade II Bannerlord\Modules\swadian armoury\ModuleData
Delete all the items so that all you're left with is the following code:

<?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-8"?>
<Items>
</Items>

You'll no longer have the Swadian Armoury items (you won't need the RBM patch either) and you'll only find the Vlandian Steel version of the various items.
Don't delete this file, even though it may seem simpler, as the mod would no longer work. What's more, I'd advise you to make a backup of this items file before modifying it, in case you want to restore the mod rather than having to re-download it in its entirety.
