General M-13  [author] 12 May @ 10:55am
Decided to sit down and update the B41 side of the mod with the Metal Bo Staves, also fixed a few bugs and decided to give the textures an overhaul, Please report any bugs if you find any!
General M-13  [author] 10 May @ 11:19am
Later today went on to be later... sometime, IRL keeping me busy and it's not a critical update to the mod so going to shelf it for a bit. I plan on updating the B41 version of the mod with Metal Staves as well while i'm at it, so when i do get on it, it will be a bigger update.
General M-13  [author] 9 May @ 1:29am
I think i will update the textures of this mod (since i like their looks) and use the old textures to make a "standalone" Texture mod that people can use to make their own texture mods.
Will get on this a bit later today.
Shahin·Wolf 9 May @ 1:02am
OK. No problem.
Shahin·Wolf 9 May @ 1:02am
OK 没问题
General M-13  [author] 9 May @ 12:35am
This is what the normal metal staff looks like after i edited the texture you provided, with your permission i will update the mods textures.

Shahin·Wolf 9 May @ 12:19am
OK
General M-13  [author] 9 May @ 12:18am
What we could discuss is that you end up keeping your textures and turn it into a mod that just replaces the texture, so people can download your mod if they choose.
General M-13  [author] 9 May @ 12:01am
I understand where you're coming from with the tradional part, but this is a zombie apocalypse, the staff should IMHO look like a bunch of pipes that were welded together, i'm kinda playing around with your textures to improve my own, i will show a screenshot when i'm done.
Shahin·Wolf 8 May @ 11:52pm
After you complete the replacement, please let me know. I will hide this MOD of mine.
Shahin·Wolf 8 May @ 11:52pm
But everything should be done according to your plan.
Shahin·Wolf 8 May @ 11:51pm
This is more in line with the rationality of using this kind of long stick.
Shahin·Wolf 8 May @ 11:50pm
When I was designing the metal pole, my thought was that the hitting area was made of metal, while the tail part was combined with wood.
Shahin·Wolf 8 May @ 11:49pm
OK, I have updated the texture of the metal staff.
General M-13  [author] 8 May @ 11:29pm
I have no issues with the translation, i can incorperate that into the mod on my end to make it less work for people to use it.
The texture looks nice, but there's an issue with the Metal staff, the texture turns it partially into wood.
Shahin·Wolf 8 May @ 9:45pm
If you don't like it, I will delete this MOD.
Shahin·Wolf 8 May @ 9:40pm
OK
General M-13  [author] 8 May @ 2:02pm
I could incorperate the translation and textures into the mod depending on what you have planned with the textures, i have to admit my textures are kind of crap :P
Shahin·Wolf 7 May @ 8:37pm
Can I create a patch for this MOD that includes a Chinese language translation and texture expansion?
Peregrine 7 Apr @ 8:06am
You are the MAN!!! TY for such a quick response!
General M-13  [author] 7 Apr @ 6:36am

Peregrine 24 Mar @ 10:48am
Ahhh, I see. 42.6 just came out and my Steam auto updated it. It completely bricked the mod. Boooooo! I love this mod.
Peregrine 24 Mar @ 10:26am
Was working fine this morning, now it is not even loading the mod. I also do not see any updates. Says it will only work in Debug mode. Anyone else having this issue? I love this mod and I have changed nothing. Worked a few hours ago perfectly. Thanks.

General M-13  [author] 3 Mar @ 10:45pm
No sorry i never implemented Metal staves into 41, shouldn't be too much work to put it in, but i'd need a bit of time.
Kuro 3 Mar @ 9:52pm

General M-13  [author] 15 Jan @ 4:05am
true that the game's way of storage is weird, but i try to stick to it's values to stay a bit true to it's lore or to speak.
Spoon 7 Jan @ 12:10pm
Oh I was just talking about IRL, ingame encumbrance is a bit inaccurate and is also supposed to represent how awkward to hold/store something is I believe, either way the difference in weight is negligible though, the hardness is what really matters.

Though regarding pipes vs rods, you'd typically want to forge a weapon from an ingot/rod rather than retrofitting a pipe due to quality of metal and avoiding a hollow space, but I'm not a blacksmith so I could be wrong on that.

Totally understand the crude thing, mainly mentioned it as it's how the game handles spears, the nuance is nice but hardly necessary.
