Oh! ok, yeah that's because, for some reason, something was generating a random bomb run when I was playing, any map out of nowhere the sound of a plane and then some explosions. Still haven't figured out why cuz I have most of my addons disabled. I'll maybe check that out later.

You could try downloading it directly from GitHub, placing it in your addons folder inside the GMod directory and see if that helps

Any way to fix this issue? my game just does not have the addon working at all. I've unsubscribed and subscribed, nothing happens. No mods conflicting it at all. In the past it worked and then suddenly now doesn't. This is one of my favourite addons idk how to fix or if there's any console command to enable it manually. Recently j unsubscribed from all my addons and made sure to subscribe to this again. Doesn't work stoll

This means more than 5 explosions were triggered in a single second. The addon is hardcoded to limit explosions to 5 at a time to prevent game crashes

Why does it says that [RFS] Player: olakepro (STEAM_0:0:*********) sent too many messages per second! Count: 6

So I reinstalled the addon and re-enabled it. The fragmentation is still not there. Last time it worked flawlessly, one random day it just stopped working. Like I changed nothing. Any ways to fix this? I play on the x-86 branch or whatever it's called. I like this mod a lot

By default half of the fragments interact with the world; the rest only deal damage (this depends on your settings)

You can set the maximum amount of damage that fragments from a single explosion can deal in the options

Is there a way to keep the fragments from damaging armored npcs? I really like this mod, but it's a bit goofy to see a strider or a gunship go down from 1 single smg grenade.

Strange, not sure what happened. Maybe the default explosion sound somehow changed for both of you? You can check it by enabling 'Show sound names in console' in the options. If that doesn’t help, try reinstalling the addon and see if it fixes it

ricky idk what happened, no errors popping up and its enabled and now theres no shrapnel anymore for explosions. I changed nothing and yeah it doesnt work which is sad. Hope you can fix it tho i LOVE this mod

Since the latest update explosions do not produce any shrapnel and haven't downloaded any mods since that would interfere with it. I'll do some more investigating just to be sure.

Try setting the Max Fragment Damage to the highest value and see if that helps

@Peace&Death It sets the amount of bullets (in %) when using the 'Bullets w/ Traces' option as an explosion type. The bigger the number, the more bullets

I don't know if this is possible, but maybe a cool setting that scales the amount of fragments depending on the size/damage of the explosion

I've added a new option to cap the maximum damage dealt by all fragments in an explosion. You can tweak some settings and see if it still one-shots the strider

I love this mod. I play games like firefight and am fascinated by bullet ballistics and grenade shrapnel, it is why they're so dangerous after all, so it's very nice to have an actual simulation and gameplay implementation of this from a first person perspective, i've never seen a videogame do it before.
- But recently i've been trying to find a mod that can make explosions a bit more cinematic, i'm looking for a mod that adds a universal shockwave, which is really just a second explosion with a bigger radius, force, and no damage. Think you can do it?

The purpose of the whitelist is to actually add compatibility for other grenades, specifically their explosion sounds (since that's how this addon works)
