This mod doesn't utilize anything directly from that damn library, so I'd rather not. It's the only requirement across KI5's vehicles now, so it is not difficult to check and remember in my opinion.

finally got it. base seems to be the actual type eg police military or civilian ( aka base).

You either open the debug menu or you look in the mod files that define the vehicle. There are guides online.

you need to find the vehicle type that is used to spawn the ZRAP. "Base" stands for a package that entities are in. 99% of mods use the default "Base" package. It is likely that ZRAP is under "Base" as well but you need to take a look by either looking in the debug menu or in the mod files.

how do i get a modded vehicle to spawn with custom luv? i have gotten it to work before but i cant for the life of me get it to work anymore. what does "base" mean? base game? im trying to get the zrap to spawn and putting zrap in with or without base makes a ute spawn.

Have you taken a look at the vehicle sandbox settings? The global vehicle condition settings affect the Bushmaster, and the min and max settings I provide let you set a range the parts should be in, albeit in a sloppy manner I need to fix.

Yeah, it did lose three wheels on my bushmaster. I haven't encountered any problems with the batteries.

No vehicle should lose any parts necessary for its operation. There are some that have extra parts such as armor, but the vehicle will spawn in the state it typically does in the world. There may be an issue with batteries if it takes like a heavy-duty battery or something, which I am not able to help with at the moment.

The vehicle only spawns at the start of the game, not the character. I haven't figured out how to reset it per chatracter.

I'm testing it in MP on my local server and I can only start with the vehicle a maximum of two times, like this: I create a character and start with the customized vehicle, it appears normally and functional, with the key on the ground, after about 3 or 4 days I die and start with another character and set it to start with another vehicle (all vehicle mods are active) and it appears normally. However, after a few days and when I die and create a new character, when I set it to start with a vehicle, it doesn't appear, it's as if it only allows me to start with the vehicle twice. I played with a friend and each of us was able to start with one vehicle each. I would like to know if there is any restriction/limit of vehicles to start with for each new character or if it would eventually be a conflict with one of the mods I'm using (I'm using about 100 mods that I've gradually tested).

Perhaps. The modded vehicles use the vanilla heavy duty car battery. You can find the IDs in the wiki: https://pzwiki.net/wiki/Car_Battery

Maybe is not a problem with your mod but with the original mods of the modded cars. I tried to spawn in those 4 cars manually and all still had 0-1%. You could contact the admin KI5 and maybe ask him if he knows bout that issue?

There are multiple battery types but only the generic one is accessible through the code. They probably need to be manually found by their ID to fix the problem forever.

Hey, I have the problem that all the cars always spawn with low battery. Most of the time is less than 1% so I can not even start the car. The settings are all on 100% and the condition is 100% but not the battery juice.

The workaround: Spawn the Heavy Duty Car Battery with the following command: /additem "Base.CarBattery2"

You will get a battery with 100% and can replace the lower one in the car.

Those sandbox settings should not matter. If you're respawning with another character, it won't work, that's a known issue. Otherwise, it might be a mod conflict, check your debug logs and do A/B tests

@panopticon i have managed to set the minimum and maximum condition to respectively 90-100. Vehicle spawned with good condition. Battery is green, but the electricity is 0. Any ideas?

tried spawning with vehicles with minimal mods, tried spawning in outside insertion points but all it results in is hanging during the loading screen

mod working nicely without error, however in sandbox option under vehicles the settings for this mod is not available. Im the host of local mp.

Just running it with require mods and test, the results was Same. It spawn nothing when tick to "Surprise me". May be you should investigate and fix it ?

After 6th time of testing in MP fresh world.. it seems like the randomize "Surprise me" function is broken.

When trait specific to APC and Humvee, it spawned. Then tried custom vehicle from mod "Base.86econolinerv", it spawned without problem. Then tick the "Surprise me" and tried three times in a row , it spawned nothing

@Panopticon so in apocalypse/etc it spawns the Spiffo van specified in the custom airdop and not randomized, otherwise if anything is touched in the vehicles menu (weather by custom or the premade Initial Infection or One Week Later) it'll spawn in the Chevalier 1500, im gonna tinker about with mods to see if stuff is going wrong there :D

Im trying to see if the radomized car works but the only thing im spawning in is a chevy c-10? I have the "Custom Type" blank and the Random option selected in the settings menu?

That's a good question. Try looking into server mods that modify traits. I think there's one that can hide traits you select.
