The Germans having assault engineers instead of squads with longer range is a significant disadvantage in this scenario. Better hope that LMG doesn't malfunction. There was an AI glitch where I parked two squads at the edge of the woods to the east and the Russians just kept moving back and forth, neither approaching the Germans or trying for the victory point. It made for a pretty easy victory.

To respond to the first poster below, the house in question is a rowhouse component, they are intended to be used to build larger buildings and not as stand-alone structures. I made a similar mistake in one of my early scenarios, but unfortunately you can't fix maps without starting the whole scenario again from scratch.

That southwest building having no windows facing north or south was definitely unintentional. I did find in testing that it gives the Russians a good way to approach the objective, which it uses very effectively.

I can't say its the most balanced or fun scenario out there, but I enjoyed making and testing it. It was great to see the Russian AI hammering away at me with a MMG from the same NW tree line I've used so many times playing CC:E! I'm glad you enjoyed seeing it, and hopefully our fellow CC:E fans will get a kick out of it too.

I absolutely loved seeing this in the workshop! Thanks for putting it together. Combat Commander is my favorite board game, and I'm always looking for a way to play on PC.

One question: the most South-Western building has no windows to the North or South. Is that on purpose?
