Hey @soulmindproductions First, this should work with the master collection, both my original and Xoudad re-upload. This is still needed for my Huntsmen, in whatever mod youre getting them from, to be compatibile with Sigmars Heirs because what this submod is doing is turning the variants to Huntsmasters like the vanilla guys are changed.

If someone else has Captain variants, yes, they can make all variants compatible by giving theirs keys different from what mine use, either by numbering them after mine or changing the key another way. If it is a RESKIN of the two existing Captains, then they might be out of luck unless then can make new variant keys for their reskins and make sure their tables load first.

Is the problem that he straight up changes vanilla's Emp Captains, so his is basically 100% incompatible with any other variants mod?

Hey Snek, sorry in case these are stupid questions - I'll still ask them ;)

1.) Is this still needed? 2.) Will it work with the Extra Variants master collection or does it actually require the Huntsmen Generals mod? If it does work with the compilation, should we use your upload or the version Xoudad uploaded (might be more recently updated) with the pack file name "!!xou_snek_extra_variants_master_collection.pack"?

3.) And any idea if there's smth simple that Stompie could do with his mod that adds extra captain variants, to be compatible with yours? With both activated, choosing Stompie's will give me a captain that's invisible on the campaign map (incl. his flag and name gone, only exception is garrisoned). Porthole and rotatable 3D model in char details are empty too. Load order doesn't seem to matter.

No, not having this mod on, even with Sigmars Heirs on will not cause any crashes.

i usually just subscribe to the main compilation and wait for your variants to be carried over there. iF i miss the update where you add Huntsmasters into main variant and happen to not have this mod enabled, will it cause crashes?

@Sigmar, that load order sounds right, yes. But, the load order you can do manually would only really effect the visuals, so maybe you'd lose the faction color reskin of the existing Huntsman if they were in the wrong order. The database load order is handled automatically by the table names whatever order you shift the packs to load.

When your Huntsman General mod gets added to the compilation, will this mod be added to that same compilation or will it have to be separate to avoid crashes for people who don't use Sigmar's heirs?

@Anax This should load in after Sigmars Heirs but before the variants mod, but the table names should handle your load order. I know it works in a 118 mod campaign that includes Sigmar's Heirs.

@TheGrandSirPiggy @Sigmar Yes, once the main variants are added to the collection this should work the same does for the standalone.
