I developed this mod on a Mac. On Mac, .ds_store files store information on application windows, which has zero correlation with the mod itself. The game ignores these files without issue, but I cannot remove these without going to a Windows PC.
Don't mind it if you see them.
Perfect timing, it's exactly what I needed!
It mostly covers vanilla foods, but what it happens to do is remove the entire script of rotting in two ways. First, there are patches that remove the lines calling the rotting config. Second, the config itself as well as the lua are overwritten to ensure the text doesn't show up, and the lua itself non-functional.
While it's focused on vanilla foodstuffs, mods that add food may be affected by this mod too, as long as they behave the same as any of the vanilla stuff.
Nice to save time without having to constantly check the perishables for expiration and sorting the food inventory.
