It's just for fun tbh. And yeah from a gameplay perspective the lootbeams are just there to help players identify which drop appeared.

plus this is a lot more balanced than 1 kill = 1 guaranteed rocket, grenade and upwards of 2 magazines lol

Can ya take a bug since I just found one.
The drops have missing textures, like everytime an item drops, it always appears as a pink block. Can you please fix it? (Version: Linux)

Spawn limit has been fixed, it should be following the setting now properly. This should also help the mutator perform as intended as it's no longer spawning drops with no limit lol.

Huh, gotta look into that. The spawn limit should auto delete the oldest drop in the system.

the spawn limit doesnt work! id personally recommend setting the respawn timer lower instead. my personal settings are 15% chance of spawning and 20 seconds to despawn

hey, could anyone explain to me how to use the spawn limit thing? When i play against quite a few bots, there's like a ton of dropped stuff (i configured it to do mostly ammo drops) but i want to limit it to like maybe 8-10 drops not like 20. Anyone know the answer?
Great mod, especially the ability to set how much ammo you start with.

Wow. This is great. It totally changes the way you play. I was already running with advanced health and armor plates, but this just brings it all together. This is fun.

if you use it youll see how different it is and it makes a radical difference in pace. its also designed in a way in which it inherently makes different weapon mods more compatible with eachother, such as hoiders weapons which get half mags on ammo and some of dr phds which get 1-2 magazines, by giving a magazine to every item

its also incredibly useful for balancing certain items as you can blacklist them from getting ammo, meaning you can balance your game more like battefield in that guns get ammo but gear doesnt. only from ammo boxes

not to mention you can configure it to just give you ammo, health or armour on kill by setting the pickup radius to 9999 lol

Bro turned the kick corpse feature into a mod :skull: skull:
(You can press V to kick corpses and they will drop Ammo)

not sure if this helps but that bug i mentioned seems to affect all single slot gear items, not just grenades

is it intentional for you to spawn with less than max ammo despite setting the ammo scale to max? guns seem unaffected but i spawn with the vanilla amount of grenades and have to stand at an ammo box for a bit to get the amount set by your extra ammo mutator. not really a huge issue but i figured id ask to see if it was intentional 🤗

Also after giving it some thought, I'll be changing how the "Drops From Friendlies" feature works. I'll make it so friendlies that die nearby will have a low chance of also dropping supplies.

if i may, that could be really cool for certain playstyles and such! for example i create different “characters” using configs and one of them plays so quickly that having to stop for ammo is actively a detriment, meaning this mutator youve made is less quality of life for me and more an essential part of that “characters” balancing now 🙈

i cant for myself personally think of a use for every enemy to drop health, but i imagine someone who likes to play with a zombie config would get great use of a setting like that on 3% or something! itd be a much less op alternative to full heal medkits or your stim shots, which can be resupplied ☺️
