All variants are now available also without elevator. I just can't fix invisible wall bug, if you ever encounter this, use the "no elev" version. Not everyone has this bug, but some do.

New variant for request - Herring but without elevator (After a long time, for the players who experience elevator bug). In the future I will also add A-class and S-class variants without the elevator.

Elevator airlock breaks about every third or fourth mission.

Just remove it, man. It doesn't work.

Ill never understand why people use mods like "EK". It not only horrendously breaks game balance, But also changes so many thing's that it causes a ton of bugs and incompatibilitys.

Invisible wall comes from using versions of EK Armory. The simple tools only version for sure.

My elevator seems to be dislocated to the right when I leave and it can not return to the position after I press the button, it is now stick to the bottom of the submarine, and I can not leave the ship either since the elevator is still outside.

The only thing it's missing to be perfect for me is a downwards facing docking ring..
So it can dock with wrecks for the salvage mod :D

I think it was a bug btw, not sure why on the A-class and the basic Herring it didn't appear, but it's already fixed.

Love the submarine, just popping a quick notice that in the S-Class version the Sonar seems to switch off immediately after the first ping, no matter the charge in the battery. Doesn't come back until you switch the sonar on and off again.

Not sure if it's happened for anyone else or it's just our game. Only mods active are Robotrauma and this plus a couple other submarine mods.

Managed to replicate it, invisible wall still exists ;)
Seems to occur when pressing the call elevator button multiple times and also pressing the button that controls the doors (Not the button override).

Perhaps redesigning the elevator from scratch would work better? A singular door on the elevator access and one on the left on the elevator internals? Uncertain why a two door system is needed if the doors auto-open once the elevator drops out anyways? I assume the doors exist to prevent something getting crushed between the roof of the sub and the elevator though?

I assume that submarine and elevator doors are too close to each other so the "hull" created between them is crossing other hull's space. Releasing a fix right now.

It seems to occur after the elevator is used or something such as an item or entity gets into that frame, after that once you try to enter the elevator, something blocks it.

Could be to do with the 2nd door? I noticed it never actually closes so that could be why there is an "invisible door".

Damn, i have no idea what is causing it, maybe this is a general game issue idk. It's weird that some players are experiencing it and some are not. Anyway I will try to fix it (if it's even possible)

Herring got a new update. Invisible wall bug in elevator is now fixed (...hopefully). Also there is a new variant of the sub equipped with unmanned drone.

I use batteries already, there is an problem that still says not enough power. I manually use reactor to solve that problem but it didn't, and i'd just stop using that sub and also there is a bug about airlock elevator. There is an invisible wall sometimes causing to disable enter to elevator

I can't drive that submarine, it's still displaying no signal and insufficient power things. It's everything alright with reactor but there is no power coming out and the engine is not running. I try to go forward, it says not enough power. That submarine gettin' my nerves

I've mained this sub for almost all of my time in Barotrauma. Great if you want a challenging sub to operate.

Try to disable mods. Everything works for me and my friends (and we played many hours with this sub). I checked recently and there were no issues. It can be general problem with "transporters" caused by some mod. "Performance fix" seems to make similar type of problems but it's only my suspicion.

theres an issue with the elevator thingy. i cant get into the elevator even though the airlock door is open, no matter how hard i try i cant get in.

theres a bug wherei cant seem to get throught the airlock door even though its open, which is really annoying and i cant fix it

Power issues are managable with additional power supply if used right. This isn't another overpowered workshop sub. I made it hard to manage but rewarding if you learn how to use it with specific approach. Remember that it's a tier 1 submarine (tier 2 variant have no power issues) You can either love it or hate it.

Is it normal to have this ship not give you any info on hull breaches and the like? It's the only submarine I have that doesn't display this info, and ontop of the power issues it's borderline unplayable!

@Hjav Like Aendron said, the sonar is connected to the battery next to it. This battery may charge too slow to run active sonar continuously. Change to the passive for just a few seconds or upgrade battery charging speed. (You can also rewire all devices to the main grid but then you will get blackouts of sonar at load jumps making it unable to change sub's moving direction for a few seconds which i think is worse).

Hjav, If your sonar is always without signal, check if Transducer is connected to navigation terminal. If it is, it might be a power issue. this sub has very low power generation compared to it's consumption, so you'll want at least two rods in a reactor (if you use basic ones) at all times

Also, check if the battery next to terminal has any charge :)

I suggest using 2 fuel rods instead of one and getting reactor upgrades ASAP. Always charge backup power supply when ship is standby and use this power when accelerating the ship or doing power hungry maneuvers. Using the backup power supply right is crucial ! Temporary turning off oxygen generator, active sonar and maybe unwiring one pump in the ballast may also help.
