This mod is a really good job. But unfortunately there is this problem where zombies spawn on roofs, and due how roofs work in the game, they keep falling inside buildings like they're coming from nowhere and making the bug even worse. I would like to know what can be done to correct this. Thanks in advance.

I am trying to set a game with almost non existing zeds but no matter what value i use there is no way to lower the zombies that spawn in buildings. It did get to clear the streets and open fields but the population of in building spawns remains the same.

If a mod doesn't have the build 42 tag , that means it's not compatible for build 42

This mod doesn't work in Multiplayer nor does it work properly in Singleplayer. The only reason I'm not deleting it is because some people still use it for some reason.

this is insane mod, incredible work. Could i ask for something similar but not the same. ius posible a mod to compensate diference in spawn for maps, whitelisting cells to apply the inside the room. or on the other side a blacklist of cells in your mod to not apply to raven creek or luisville cells?

also just make the mod ask if the tiles have already been seen before then have it decide to apply its chances to the tiles (in MP)

@An actual duck, I think that is because even with 0 population settings the game has forced spawns in places with no way to customise them. It does suck as I wanted the same thing

Mod work as expected, works very well... but sometimes zombies will spawn indoors on top or behind certain tiles, so they won't move until I hit them at least once.

I'm trying to get it so zombies only spawn indoors but no matter what I do they still spawn outside. I set population modifier to zero so that vanilla spawning is off and the mod zombie count to 1. All other settings are at 0 except indoors which is at 1. I'm attempting to use this with the 10 year later mod and zombies fear the sun to make the outdoors feel desolate and indoors looting buildings scarier. Any suggestions as to the proper settings to make them spawn indoors is appreciated.

Can I modify building spawn rate with this mod? Like make louisville mall not spawnn 2000 zombies but 300, but not also plummet normal buildings spawn rate?

I'm currently looking for a mod to adjust zombie counts for specific area's such as Louisville Police station and prison, simply to make it tougher to clear and fetch the loot.

I was thinking of police stations, military locations, gun shops - anywhere with guns and ammo, but hospitals and supermarkets could also do with a boost option.

This looks like a good mod. I'd like to add this just to spawn additional zombies in loot heavy rooms and buildings, any chance you could group these locations together and add them as a separate option so I don't have to find every specific room type and adjust them manually over and over to get the numbers right? Thanks

@sgt epper You can add it to existing saves but it will trigger once on tiles you have already explored - including your base.
I'm not too worried about compatibility issues with other mods in singleplayer, it's multiplayer I'm not sure about.

@FlufyFox Yes you can add it mid-game. But I am pretty sure it will trigger on the cells you have already explored, too. Including your base.

i can still use this mod on my mid save going game ? like i set the respawn to 0, i jsut want to kill the zeds on the map, if i add the mod now and go to roads and other places that make them sapwn they still going to spawn, like on places i didnt have go yet. sorry idk if i explained it right >< the mod looks nice thank you

this mod grouped with "please dont feed the zombies" works so god damn well.(once i figured out the spawning on this) great stuff

@Milat. This mod does not override the vanilla zombie spawn system. All sandbox pop settings are irrelevant to this mod. (Except if you set the Population on "None" in the "population" tab : it disables all zombie spawns, including from this mod.) If you really want to override the vanilla zombie pop heatmap, you'll need to set the zombie pop multiplier to 0.
Personally I use a mix of the two, with the vanilla pop multiplier at 0.5 and the rest handled by this mod. One of the weakness ( or strength ) of this mod is that the same number of zombies will spawn in Riverside as in WestPoint ; so keeping a small vanilla multiplier helps with that.

So to be clear , this mod does not override vanilla's spawn population setting ? So does this make the population multiplier & population setting irrelavant ?What about peak pop , starting pop , etc2 ? Genuinely curious

The possibility of completely disabling or reducing zed spawn on the road/highway was what bought me , there's just way too many zeds on the road in vanilla for some reason , and each time you want to go from one place to another your beautiful newly replaced car will always end up becoming a wreck

Update : fixed multiple spawns upon revisiting an area.
Fixed Multiplayer chat spam.
Fixed zombies spawning only around admins and not normal players. Hopefully. I need someone else to confirm that one.

this is amazing, this allows you to really change up the zombies lore, for example, if you want more intelligent, sprinter zombies, that stay near the cities, closer to food and water, this is perfect.

Thank fuck. Thank you, hated how you could not have high zombies in cities, but low/nothing in countryside... you always had to pick low settings to just have a realistic amount of zombies, a few years in. :steamthumbsup:
