does this normally not remove limits on preferred apparel options or is that a possible conflict with VIC?

@Copy If you have the group of Vanilla Ideology Expanded mods installed, then go to your options, select 'Mod Options', then search for 'Vanilla Ideology Expanded. Selecting it will bring up a window, containing 5 different slider bars, one of which increases your ritual limit.

@Copy If you use Vanilla Ideology Expanded, one of the options in that mod is to increase the ritual limit, up to 15. There are other limits you can increase too.

Does this mod remove the limitations of the factions'?
for example the new meme of born in the ship only some factions of super soldiers can use it, others cannot.

@Kriegssturm01 the version we downloaded was v1.6.0 which is why it wasn't working.
Whilst I was at work I can see Mlie uploaded a new version on steam (v1.6.1) so I updated to that and now we are back in business.
@Mlie thank you for the update. My RP scenario has been saved and now I can unwind.

fixed thank you again and sorry my problem was that even after deleting the mod and reinstalling it was still on verion 1.6 instead of 1.6.1

@Kriegssturm01 The instructions are pretty clear on this page. But dont worry about these complex instructions and demads from someone that does this for free. Im sure Ill figure it out without your help and perhaps someone else can do the steps described.

@Kriegssturm01 I see, then it would have shortened this conversation a lot if any if you had done the steps described in the section about reporting issues above. A log would have shown you game version and all other relevant info, in fact, this is why modders ask you to provide it so that we dont have to have these time wasing conversations every time.

This mod was mandatory for me pre 1.6/odyssey. Now it doesn't let me have more than 3 relics. Fresh install and I'm only using this and harmony. Any ideas what could be wrong?

Yep, thats my bad. In this mod's settings I turned the "unlock for player only" or whatever its called thinking it would stop the ai from having access to no limits on ideology. Turns out it locks it for everything, including the player.

Is this completely incompatible with ALL ideology expanded mods? I only have the relics and artefacts one, yet I still have limitations imposed while making an ideology. Or is there possibly another mod conflicting with this?

Its strange that it doesnt reflect anything related to an incompatiblity in the devs logs. i believe its not working with VIE. I have already ran it alone and without VIE and works perfectly

FYI if you are using Vanilla Ideology Expanded this mod is incompatible. VIE settings have the option to increase the limits, though is not as flexible as this mod.

@Funny Valentine You can also edit the config file without having to edit the dll, though you won't get options to change the value in the rimworld mod menus.

@niko.k.sam for you or anyone else that wants a pretty easy fix, if you open up the Memes and Structures expanded dll in the assemblies folder using something like DN spy (also drag and drop the assembly-c#.dll from rim world directory for dependencies). Click the dropdown on the yellow vanillamemesexpanded text and go down to vanilla expanded settings- there you will see "(VanillaMemesExpanded_Settings.memeAmount, 4f, 8f), 0);" the 8f is the settings cap max, I changes mine to 1000f to match ducks mod.
I needed to do this as load order wasn't helping not overwrite ducks mod

After some testing I found that there's definitely a conflict with VIE - Memes and Structures, where whichever is lower in the load order, overwrites the other.
So, if you want to install both mods and still have no limit in the number of memes in your ideology you have to place this mod after VIE - Memes and Structures.

Out of curiosity does this also allow any clothing to be used in prefered apparel? I realized there's a lot of potential for making factions if I could set a list of clothing they're allowed to wear lol

No, I'm trying to make use of the Prisoner Sacrifice ritual (which is normally from the Pain is Virtue meme), but it's not showing up in the list. Other rituals from that meme like Scarification show up, and there aren't any conflicts I can see, but I still can't use it for some reason.

@Vanidas As mentioned in the description, the mod does not enable conflicting memes. Perhaps that is what you are referring to.
