I mean, that's not your fault. I just made a bad icon! But, it is the worst banner.

I read "Custom" the other way around like "WOLSNC" and I thought it would say "WORST BANNER".

ok i finally got it working. apparently i could only replace the last one in banners_g.dds the others wouldn't show up.

it's not replacing the texture. it still shows all the originals. i ever tried replacing the original texture file with it copied into another directory.

@Tyrnasales What does show up, then? Is your custom banner not replacing the banner you have, or are you getting a missing texture when in-game?

tried that. i used paint.net and have it saved in the native texture folder. but still doesn't show up.

@Tyrnasales From what I've heard, custom banners (or other mods) just aren't working with Steam workshop. If you're making your own banner, you just go into the game's textures folder, edit the .dds file for the banner you want (I use Gimp with a .dds plugin to do this), and replace the old texture file.

@MatthewTwin You will be able to choose a banner once you become a king's vassal or you become a king yourself. If you don't like the banner you chose, you can edit the texture file. I'm pretty much just going to paste this guide I gave to someone else: Go to Steam\SteamApps\common\MountBlade Warband\Textures
Find a banner texture like "banners_a.dds" (whichever one contains the banner you chose) and open it up with a program like paint.net or Gimp.
Save your new .dds texture using the same name as before (like "banners_a.dds") in Steam\SteamApps\common\MountBlade Warband\Modules\Native\Textures
It will then appear in your game.

@tel7jag It's not possible to change it without cheats, but you CAN still edit the texture files to get the one you want to appear. I told someone how to make their own banner further down in the comments. You can just paste the banner you want over top of your currently selected banner.

Ive already started my kingdom as a queen and im probably the 2nd best in calradia, but i picked a crap banner next to your one! i was wondering how to change it without cheats because im getting all the queen achivments and if i use cheats i cant get them. is it possible to change it on clean mode? thanks
