ive subscribd but can't find this anywhere....nothing changed when started new game in scotland ...couldn't find file anywhere to install...have followed jimokane2's instructions...it's not there...unsubscribed, re subscribed...twice...zilch, nada, nothing....can anyone explain very simply...wtf is going on?

found this to be really easy ran away with all the leagues upto the premiership, first season in premiership finished 5th and won the fa cup. no euro qualification which was disappointing

Well, that didn't work. Guessing I had to start a new save. Sod that for a game of soldiers - not wasting another 60-odd hours. Think I'll give it a rest for a while. At least until FM 15 anyway....

Cheers Mr Suiciide - only checked back for 1st time in a few weeks. Think I've figured it out. Hope don't have to start a new game as halfway through 2nd season & I play all games as well so it's taken me forever and have decent little squad set up.

SPQR, once you open up the editor, go to File menu -> Load Editor Data -> click on 'old firm in england' and click 'select'.

Making sure you have 'Database' highlighted, select 'Clubs', search for either Rangers or Celtic (need to do both 1 at a time).

With 'Details' highlighted, click on the drop-down to the right of 'Continental Cup Nation' 'Scotland', Search -> England -> OK.

File -> Save Editor Data.

No idea if it'll work or not (!!) but that's how to do what Mr Suicide meant.

PS. For Rangers, before you save data, if you go to Finances on the left, under General you can set up a transfer embargo and under 'Other Income' you can set up a parachute payment - although I didn't. I did remove Celtic's though.

Jimokane.. I was talking about the normal editor that you download from the 'Tools' section in your 'Library' on 'Steam'.

Download the 'Editor' from there.

once in the Editor. Load the Old Firm Database. Go to Both Rangers and Celtic and change the CONTINENTAL CUP QUALIFICATIONS from Scotland to England.

Just take a good look through the Clubs database. You will find it if you look hard enough. It is there.

Sorry that it took so long to respond. I am currently testing this myself. Since I play all the games it takes a little longer to find my way back up to the top tier league. But this has fixed many issues regarding Home-Grown players as well. I recommend changing the settings I suggest and you will find that this Mod is awesome.

I would like to point out that this DOES FIX THE PARACHUTE MONEY FOR RANGERS. But does not fix the Transfer Embargo.

sorry to say but it has a major flaw!!! Got into prem an finished sixth in league, start of next season came and I wasn't in the europa league, liverpool (5th) and arsenal who finished seventh were in the group stage draw and not my celtic team. such a shame i had a great team built up!

Mr Suicide, I'm obviously a bit thick so can you explain that please? I have the editor (if you mean the one you had to buy for an extra £5 or whatever it was, have General, Finances, Facilities & Tactical Attributes but nowhere to change continental cup qualification nation - unless we're talking about a different editor?

Great fun but the Euro cup is messed up. No matches are being played and no fixtures scheduled passed the qualification stage.

Have been playing this for some time now with a friend. Both are Old Firm supporters and its something we did on the last FM. The only problem I had with this was the parachute money that Celtic was awarded but The Gers weren't. Obviously something to do with Rangers actually being demoted to lower tier Scottish Football naturally in the game. But the Edit would have been nice for both Clubs taking on the challenge down South equally. But a GREAT download and I would suggest it to anyone that is looking for a proper challenge.

Had same, won FA Cup and no Euro League for me. Im at Championship now, winning all previous tiers. Premier next season! Good fun for sure

Couple of questions. Went Celtic & won Skrill North in 1st season. Not terribly surprisingly Rangers came 2nd & qualified via play off. Still got >£20Million transfer budget to play with in 1st season and got to final of FA cup, losing to Chelsea. Since Chelsea qualified for Champions League, does that not mean Celtic should have qualified for EUROPA League? Didn't.

Also got 'parachute payment' of £18Million at start of 2nd season which was a bit weird. This on purpose?

Nice update. Ive just started a Rangers game, being a Jambo its odd being a old firm team manager but i wanted to see what the challenge was like after all this idea is in the papers all the time as an idea. If you lot go I want to see Hearts given a chance if the club wanted to go down that route. In fact there should be a British League full stop and lets see how all the teams in the UK do in one massive league.
