Hi..I have a problem.The Harlequin Job appears grayed out when i want to invest points into the tree when i'm using this mod,without it harlequin works so i'm guessing is something wrong on this end.

I'm guessing the issue with the mechanic tree are due to game updates. I'm still rocking 1.4.4.1 and everything works fine. Well at least the following classes are fully functional:

Captain
Sec officer
Engineer
Mechanic
Clown
Medic

Husk and Hunter classes remain blank.

Endocrine boosters don't work too good with this setup. I changed its properties so that it gives XP instead. At least that way it remains a valuable item.

I love this mod so much!
I also found that the Psyker Job (Vanilla) doesn't work properly in this mod, despite fixing the load order. If you ever get back to updating this mod, could you work that job into your mod?

Thanks for the great mod! Me and my crew are enjoying this very much!

I wish it would also add the Harlequin Job and Separatist Job from the author of Acolyte Job and Diver Job as well.

Nonetheless, thanks to you and your mod me and seven other players have more fun playing Barotrauma already!

The problem was if you pick mechanic you can't see the talent tree idk if this something you can fix but that what caused the problem.

We tried having him try it in singleplayer and it worked there but as he tried in multiplayer it didn't work we even tried killing him and let him respawn in on the next mission still nothing

The only thing I can think of is to double check that it's actually enabled, and make sure he doesn't have something else that changes the way the talents are handled.

Hi we tried playing with the mod and it works for everyone except one he has tried reinstalling and restarting the game and all that but still doesn't work.

deleted my previous comment i figured it out i accidently deleted a symbol somewhere in the mix speciffically where it cut of the surgeon

Just look at how acolyte and diver are implemented and follow this approach. Copy the surgeon talent tree into every separate job. You'll need to search for Captain first and see where his tree ends paste the surgeon talents at the end of the respective job tag and do that for every tree. Then create a new tree at the end that's named "Surgeon" and do the whole thing again. You can just copy any other job and rename things to match the perks in the surgeon mod. It requires some tinkering to figure out why things go where they go.

It is possible to manually add any job to this mod but you'll need to copy the talent tree data for every job in the xml file. You'll also need to send the redacted file to everyone you're playing with and turn off cache verification or however it's called.

@ian boy- It worked for me in my existing campaign. There are a few oddities though like unique hires having points in tress without having the primary and secondary prerequisites for them. But according to another user that seems to be normal regardless.

The talent tree still shows up because of the way the coding works. Without a way to detect if x mod is installed to enable x code I just have to stick it in there. But without the code to enable the talents it's calling on it just creates a blank talent box.

It works! You're the best! I do have to say that there's an additional empty tree now there, maybe from a different mod(listed on this page). For some reason the talent tree still shows up without the mod, I'll download the mod now though. :) I guess there's no easy way to hide it without digging into some code. If people get bothered by it maybe it would be reasonable to just make a branch from this mod with the extra jobs, but I guess we have to wait for someone to complain first. Update pushed. Should be compatible with Acolyte Job. Make sure to load Acolyte Job before this one or it won't work.

I've tried to modify the files to hopefully make it recognize the talent tree and it didn't work for some reason. It seems I'm missing something necessary for it to see the modded tree, so I'm again stuck. Please test it if you can, maybe it won't mess up the game. I'm somehow expecting the game to throw exceptions when the acolyte mod isn't loaded.

I can 100% make it so that as long as this mod is loaded after the acolyte mod the acolyte job should have all the talents and the other jobs should have the acolyte talents. The problem lies in I'm not sure what happens if you don't have the acolyte mod, adding compatibility could break the mod as is. I can test it though.
