Update: This addon got improved way further that now it sounds like actual recordings of Mike Shapiro, let me know what you think

I always found it confusing that in the original half life theres like zero pause between "in the hazard suit" and "i took the liberty", im glad its been fixed

Well, I understand your concern, but the team doesn't seem to mind other people using the remastered sounds as long as proper credit is used. They even say so in their FAQ:
"Can I use or edit these sounds in my game/videos?"
-Yes. Crediting would be appreciated.

Thanks but I don't feel comfortable taking work from another mod to put it here, I would rather just start from the original voice files

In-game. And this happens mainly during the "change of a piece" of the monologue, when as a "whole piece" the audio goes without problems.

Everything would be fine, BUT audio pops are very noticeable, especially during the scene with crossfire.

Sorry if the video is laggy, I can't run the game at 60 fps unfortunately (due to my specs + video recording software), but the audio should be ok when you download it.
