ok so i found out what's wrong: if you load up a preset mp mode, it works fine. but if you have a custom mp mode that's ffa, it doesnt load.

I wasn’t aware elites dont work on some maps, I’ll look into that sometime. For weather? Idk, I havnt messed around with that before.

Have you tried cutting out and using Forge World?
The mod was made once before and they replaced High Noon, so maybe High Noon has the amount of space needed.
(There’s also an official Halo Modding server if you’d like to join that for some help from others)

the game couldn't handle it. it was super laggy. i tried cutting out the interiors of the buildings and removing as much as i could to make it run better, but it just wasnt working out. i will try again some day

This is really cool, could you also do this with other games? Its super neat to be able to walk around and explore or even play and forge on locations from campaign without limits.

Any chance of the New Alexandria campaign level getting some love? Even if it's just the nightclub, that's fine; it's criminal how the Nightclub never got added as a multiplayer map despite seemingly being designed specifically FOR a multiplayer match.

Also, any chance of a modified LNoS Corvette level that removes said Corvette and is simply a completely blank forge canvas with a pretty skybox? It existed a lot of versions ago on Nexus, but an up to date version would be nice.

there are solid walls behind each of the non opening doors. the hallways in front of them were also blocked by one way doors i removed to make the interior play space as large as possible. expanding the ship to include more would require some modeling work which i am very allergic too. somebody smarter than me will do that some day

2) Regarding dead-end corridors like such: https://gtm.steamproxy.vip/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2908842632 , mayhaps the locked doors could be deleted and the internal void of the Ceudar hull model opened uernals are rendered in (up to 3/4 of the ship's length). The only components completely missing is the engineering seint across open terrain, etc.

1) As neat as the automated doors are, they might slow down gameplay due to the speed at which they open. Mayhaps another variant of this map could remove the doors (Forgers then have the option to fill the doorways with 2-way shield walls to break up long halls).

Pathways could thus be crafted with Forge components to offset funneled chokepoints.
For example, a path along the (nonexistent) starboard weapons corridor to the bridge, two alternate paths from the comms room to the hangar, halls over/under the hangar to force a team to defend alternate routes instead of a sprint across open terrain, etc.

I find it interesting that this ship class is not just well-explored in the campaign, but to such an extent that most of the ship's overall internals are rendered in (up to 3/4 of the ship's length). The only components completely missing is the engineering section, and a hypothetical armory + gravlift room.
