Europe as a whole needs to be bigger, but I think that's not possible with Civ6's limits.

The best TSL map, bar none. Amazing work. Just a few suggestions:

Scotland deserves an upscale. There's really only enough room for one city in Scotland proper, and I wish it was viable (even if challenging) to have both them and England in the same world. Similarly, the Maori (NZ) could use a little more land, since they benefit from lots of unimproved tiles.

On the flip side, India's land is too good. Amazing resources, super defensible, lots of land to expand but not so much that you'll be beset by barbarians. I get that it's probably accurate geographically but it hurts the balance of the game world. They tend to get a massive lead almost every time I play. Some of their luxury/bonus resources could stand to be cut IMO.

There is no specific game speed i have in mind. I usually play on Standard with moderate scaling science/culture research time using Take Your Time Ultimate mod but i think thats more of a playstyle type of thing rather than a map thing.

@Training Horses were not a thing in North America till the Europeans brought them in. If you look at central asia on your cheated map, youll see theyre littered with them. That being said, i dont think any of the NA civs used horses as their strategic resource. Have fun roleplaying!

@Lance Dunsten Her initial capital city is Tyre, so her starting location will remain Tyre. Theres nothing stopping her from building in Carthage though. In fact i believe i designed Tunisia with the intent that someones going to settle there. (its been years since i did my last design on the map so i could be wrong)

@Gleen Cross Im assuming youre talking about Bering Straight. I recently learned about sea currents and how they were effectively walls in the sea for ancient civilizations so i might reflect that into the map.

Wanted to say thanks for the map - its actually so good - but I notice that there's like only 2 or 3 Horses on the entire map? I am playing North America, I am up to turn 63 and not a single horse in North or South America...I even 'cheated' and revealed the map to see if I could find anything.

I would be nice to shift Dido position to match modern day Tunisia? Since she is suppose to be of Carthage.

Alright, after testing the map a little bit, I only have one suggestion... I think it would be better if you isolate all the continents by using "ocean" titles, so only the historical civs that had the tech to navigate (Norway and the Maori) can reach these continents in the early game. The more spaced out the continents with those kind of titles, the better imo, makes it more realistic

@OxynenIsBad4u the name of the map in game is "Finnarks TSL Enormous Map" or something like that. IDK why it adds my name to it but thats how it is. The map is created using a mixture of the world builder, a third party program, and a program i wrote so i doubt you can change around stuff like landmarks and resources but you can add in spawn locations in the xml files under the map folder.

@camiles246 @NateDogPack12 check out line 81 of Map.xml. Its the line that adds in Tibet which serves as a good reference point. I doubt the world builder works with modded civs and city states (it doesnt even work with lay lines which i had to write a script to add in)

How do you add custom TSL to Gedemo’s CS? I thought I did it right, but for some reason they’re not showing up when I try to verify through WorldBuilder.

Arabia, for whatever reason, has Cairo as their capital which is in Egypt. Im guessing youre used to them spawning in Mecca/Medina location since most TSL maps dont allocate enough space in the middle east to fit Arabia in their proper location. This map is big enough for it :)

Arabia was in my next game, although they spawn right next to Egypt? Maybe due to alternative TSL enabled? Nonetheless guess this is ok. Was expecting spawn on Arabian desert or coast.

I tried it on my end and it seems like Arabia is spawning as intended. Can you double check if arabia didnt get wiped out before he was able to settle a city? Alternatively, if you can send me the logs for the game i may be able to identify why they werent present on the map.

The above are directly next to Arabia and were including in my run.

Arabia has a couple spawn points cause theres like 3 civs spawning nearby and their existence can influence their spawn location by a tile. Can you tell me which of these leaders exist in the map where Arabia didnt spawn:
Cleopatra (either variant)
Nubia
Ramses

The rivers and geographical names, unfortunately, are named based on the first civ that finds the feature and its randomly assigned and i dont think theres a way for modders to change that.

Played 39 civs on marathon and so far so good.
Arabia is bugged though. Doesn't spawn a city on map, so leader exists but no city..
Other thing already noted is location names are incorrect(such as rivers etc).
If you were to fix those two things it would be great.

Nice map size but isn't compatible with a lot of mods and isn't compatible with a lot of players in a single instance.

@Hestia The only unusual error i see on the log seems to be from another mod called Suk_GreatPeoplePopup. Can you give me more details about the situation you were in when the error popped up? (e.g. was it on game load or midplay? if midplay, what specific actions were you taking when it errored out? what other mods were you using? etc) the more detail the faster i can figure out the problem.

Oh I missed one point. With #9, the Swahili, CS-'Zanzibar' changes to 'Ternate' (it's in Indonesia somewhere.)

I can't remember if you said the Luxuries are generated by the game naturally or if you placed them specifically??? If they are specific, any thought, like with the extra natural wonders, if you would add resources too? I always play with a couple, but ALWAYS with 'Sukritact's Resources'.
Adds Bonus: Bison/camps (majorly in NA but also in Eastern Euro,) Lux: Sharks (more sea resource variety for boats is always needed,)
Lux: Gold/mine (like from some Civ Scenarios,)
Lux: Obsidian (another Quarry resource that can be great for some Civs & themes well with Lava producing Volcanoes on tectonic/continental rifts or island "hot-spots",)
Lux: Cheese/pasture (these are like sheep but the model is goats,)
Bonus: Camels/pasture (more resources for near Desert Oasis & Desert Highlands areas including; North Africa, Horn of Africa, Turkey, Arabian Peninsula & Middle East, Greater Persia/Central Asia, & Xinjiang.)

Additionally, I know you have Sukritact's Tibet coded for proper TSL, will you consider adding it for some of Sukritacts's other Civs & Leaders? Like:

[2]Akan {Leader-Oson,}
[3]American Leader-Thomas Jefferson (which would still be located in Washington DC,)

[7]Roman Leader-Hadrian (which would still be located in Rome,)

Or did you need to update this mod further after the last update which was the Great Builders Pack, i believe. It was just the Rulers of England Pack after that. Wasn't sure if you had thoughts on different specific starts for Varangian Harald or Elizabeth I... (probably, nothing new for Victoria - Steam Age.)

@Endicott Yeah its unfortunate that i couldnt get the full scandinavia in. I could possibly shrink the Arabian peninsula a tiny bit since that area is essentially wasted space for most civs that start there but it will take a considerable amount of time to adjust things around: something which i dont have nearly enough of.
