Nothing is readable in that fight, the last phase is litterally buggy as hell because one boss can stay in one phase and the other is in it's last, and the screen is unreadable so you might as well use godmode
Save for that, I enjoyed fighting the Mafia Boss for the simple reason he was READABLE.
(also the music choices are spot on, well done there)
All in all, I got thorough enjoyment out of the bosses that I beat, which considering that to be the majority, or at least half, I personally enjoyed this mod overall.
Second, can I just say that having Mustache Girl keep her dive from Phase 1 does wonders to keeping the pacing of the fight fast and intense? Because it does. Keeping alert after every hit I land to beware a potential dive counter with the reward of a second hit on Mustache Girl for staying attentive is just amazing, and her attacks feel energetic and dangerous, but fair beyond maybe some of the spam with the dark line Time Pieces feeling like it just covers all avenues of escape, but again, likely skill issue on my part.
I fought The Toilet last, but it was... interesting. At first, I didn't like it that much. I spent most attempts not even reaching phase 2 and feeling like the boss was *insert preferred defecation word here*. However, when I learned to angle myself to land near the toilet and throw bombs the instant I snatched them off the chain, Phase 2 became a breeze, leading to phase 3 that was... actually really easy as well. I actually wound up feeling good about this boss because of how the final Phase doesn't throw any cheap, random curveball, but just tests EVERYTHING the previous phases used with a big apple for a free hit every now and then.
