1) The helmets your soldiers are wearing is a tan version of the M1 helmet and and SSH-68, I looked through hundreds of photos of Iraqi soldiers during the Saddam era, and yet to see a SSH-68 helmet or M1 helmet being worn by Iraqi soldiers during the Saddam era. Iraqi soldiers at the time wore a helmet called M80 or M90 (google it). The black berets some of your soldiers is wearing however is fine, because most Iraqi soldiers I seen during the Saddam era often wore black berets.
2) Your soldiers are wearing 6B2 body armor, which I do not think was ever used by Iraqi soldiers during the Saddam era, when it comes to vest Iraqi soldiers at the time 'wore usually the green version of the Chicom chest rig.
