That would make no sense to do. All my airships have a cylinder capped by parabolic cones for a gasbag, so it would be silly to name this one for that when it has a much more distinctive feature. Additionally a ship's name should carry meaning, to its enemies and to its captain and crew. The Blade is intimidating and potentially inspiring, though other names such as Unity, Resolution, or Excellence would be more suitable on that second count. Sailors form a connection with the ship they serve on, embodied in that ship's name or hull number. Even in a fictional setting you should not senselessly discount that. Also putting "the" in the name of a ship is silly and almost always unnecessary. It was done with The Blade because it has special meaning.
