How can you select what item to melt? Feels like anything that's on you or around gets randomly selected even when choosing a specific item to "melt"

The pain is i dont know how to make fcking charcoal pit, cannot even start? why? i have everything needed fcking log, fcking fire, fcking paper what happends? What piss me of about modders are they dont make a wiki just a typical stupid idiots like another Java programer here you have i grab moeny adios.

I just saw that this mod adds the possibility to gather propane from corpses, appearently the propane tank itself is created out of thin air there, the process also doesn't require any building nor time, you just need a knife and a corpse and then you have 100% full propane gas tank, totally legit.

500 usable iron for the anvil? man. literally impossible.

At least give it a title that is outdated and saves us the time of searching for materials to create things that will never be put into the world.

@Tatsuya you can take the soulflincher's blacksmithing mod, it also adds the new skill and a new profession, but I don't know if you're supposed to run both mods together to avoid duplication etc.

Realistically blowtorches can't use petrol, it would require extensive modification and it would still be very dangerous. They're meant to use safer sources like propane or methane

Is this mod compatible with Snake Mod Pack?

it seems it requires blacksmithing skill for build 41, and there's none so, i think this mod is broken now?

is it possible to make the furnace placeable like building for example wooden crate? i can't stand placing then like items on ground.

I have also done the furnace and pit but the smithing menu is no populating im not sure if you need a certain tool or what

Am I stupid, or is the right-click menu no longer there? I was able to craft the furnace and charcoal pit, but can only place them and can't put anything in them

@Sannotsuki @Ivan There's a mod named "Currency Trade" that adds that but I don't think it's compatible with this mod, though you could still do it in a less than optimal way using both mods.

A lot of the recipes aren't appearing in my crafting menu, I've read both of the recipe magazines but they're just not showing up. I also can't figure out for the life of me what the skill I need even is, can anyone tell me?

When adding this to an existing save how will the recipe books be found? are they spawned into the world somehow?

I dont think you should remove hand scratching just make them more uncommon the higher your skill is.

please please remove/toggle hand scratching, it takes effort to build these skills players dont need to be punished for using them. bulk creation like nails etc. almost guarantees hand scratches & nerfs to ur fighting ability among other things

Also I seen someone ask this question, "Does anyone know how to prepare logs for the charcoal pit?" but then they said, "Nvm I figured it out, you need 10 logs and 10 twigs on the floor and you should have an option to "Prepare for charcoal pit". I can't create one of these either and I've got more than 10 logs and twigs too. What am I doing wrong?

How do you "turn on" the forage? I have charcoal, tongs, planks, logs, lighter, ripped sheets, water, hammer and still nothing. I've created the forage and read some recipes.

@Darkseid is. You have to craft it. I think you need to have dirt bag and plank (1-4? i don't remember) in your inventory.

I tried Melt Metal on my broken katana yesterday using the context menu (right-clicking on the katana) and I smelted my fully modified M16 instead -- attachments included. It was really painful, and it would could probably be avoided if all of these recipes were unique to the item we are trying to smelt.

All the items have been separated into different clases based on their weight so when you are crafting something on the same class as an hammer then this happens. This issue should not happen when used directly from the inventory menu.

I separated hammer-melting from the main melting recipe(Still with the same name tho). Its updated and should work now."

I don't know if this is going to get any more updates, but if there's a way to make it so the Melt Metal recipes don't target my tools (favorited btw) before the metal sheets I'm literally clicking on, that'd be great.

When I disassemble baths or dumpsters I get a ridiculous amount of free metal. I have level 0 metalworking so this doesn't make any sense. I disabled the mod and it went back to normal, so I know it's this mod.

Do the bellows spawn or are they only crafted? I didn't find any

I can't take things apart for unusable metal. It says I can, but the crafting button remains greyed out even with the materials.

How do I create the kiln? Should I learn the recipe or something? In building with right click it appears to create it, but the object is in red and it does not tell me what materials I need, or if there is any other way to get charcoal

Perhaps add a chance to get burned as well during some functions. Hot metal is dangerous unless you are careful!

I just installed the mod mid-save and haven't found any of the magazines etc yet. I got the option to dismantle a pistol into unsueable metal and gave it a try, scratched my hand doing it though. Did I just break that with the hammer I was carrying or did I hurt myself ripping apart a 1911 with my bare hands like a maniac?

I just noticed the missing nails landed in my backpack.
Kinda confusing that the product is split like this.

There's this recipe for making 100 nails out of a metal sheet.
For whatever reason I only get 20 nails per sheet.
Is this a bug or intentional?
Do I need anything else to get the full amount?
