probably one

GoingBatty: Sure, I will put something together. Most of my current ones do not have a bay door. That will be something you want as without it mobs tend to continuously attack the shuttles. Which becomes more an annoyance than a feature. How many shuttles are you looking for?

Can we have a beginner light carrier please? Made for learning carriers?

Myka: Tags for this sub's relevant containers have been added.
Blacklight  [author] 27 Jan, 2023 @ 3:43pm
Myka: I will be adding tags to some of the containers. Med, Fuel, etc. There are more storage specific containers than I was thinking. Thank you for suggesting that.

Myka: Ahh. Mobility is definitely a feature of this sub. Almost all of my subs are significantly faster than any base game sub but this one was done by request and speed was the main thing they asked for. It is actually much slower than requested. (72 speed was requested) However in early game maps speed can be dangerous as well. I dont personally consider speed and maneuverability overpowered, just a preference. I only really consider combat features in what makes something too powerful.

I dont really like to choose where the AI stores things as people put things in different places ... I do have the tags on the ore containers... but maybe I should put tags on the fuel rod cabinet and maybe a couple others. Thank you for commenting. I will put more thought into the tags.

Thank you for posting! Please take the time to Like and Subscribe if you like the sub!

Blacklight, this sub at ~50 helm and with manual steering can achieve 42km/h horizontal speed. No other sub in the game can achieve this speed, not to mention this is T1. You also buffed all pumps to be 2x times more faster than the default ones.
The main feature of scout subs is that they get more mobility upgrades than the rest. This sub, however, doesnt need ANY mobility upgrades. It's faster than any other vanilla sub will ever be.
The point of my message about tags was that bots need them so that with order to clean stuff they will place items where they should be.
Thanks for responding and all your work, anyway!

myka: I am glad you like the sub and thank you for commenting! What do you think is overpowered about this sub? It only has 2 gun positions and a non-combat drone. Autofill is off on all containers so container tags would not affect them. Yes you can post a modified version of any of my subs with a link back to the original in your description.
Optimized for Vanilla just means it uses no other mods and is made to play in the base game without other mods that affect difficulty.

Amazing sub. However, I wouldn't say that this sub is optimized for vanilla campaign. It's overpowered as hell.
I wanna notify that all of the containers are missing specific tags, you should add them probably.
Also, wouldnt you mind if I release more balanced and translated to russian version?

Undead: I appreciate the review! I have updated the sub for you. It now detects if the host docking port is providing power. (a green light by docking hatch will flash if power is supplied). If the system detects power it will switch to autocharge.

Thank you for the quick response! I found this and a few of your other subs recently, and have been running them both solo and with an organized discord group. I think they're really solidly made, and I like the aesthetic.

Undead: Thank you for letting me know and I am glad you enjoy the sub. I did not think of that with outposts. The circuit was designed to help by switching to autocharge for docking with outposts but I didnt consider abandoned ones. I will update it and likely remove the autocharge circuit all together.

I've been really enjoying this sub!

I think it could use a switch to disable the behaviour preventing it from generating power while docked. If you're docked with an abandoned outpost and your batteries are dry, you'll be just incapable of generating power (since the reactor is connected to an untargetable junction box.)

ehden: Thank you for commenting! I just dont like the look of the default stairs.
ehden 9 Dec, 2022 @ 1:24pm
love the ship, my only question is. What's up with the staircase in the back made up of platforms? the normal stairs are tall enough to get you to the top part
