Oh man, I forgot we wanted to update this. I made a bunch of sprites but never got around doing this.

This Mod should still work in V1.5 , but the Textures are still improperly rendered. The Mod's author can fix this by making sure the Textures are the exact same width and height in all of the cardinal directions AND they are the same long as they are wide. (So, for example, if the East Sprite is five hundred by five hundred pixels, all others must be the same, and they must be perfect squares.)

Anomaly being a thing, is there any chance we'll see Cosmic Horror Garfield?

3. The Garfling's Food Type tables do not include Meals. This makes him unable to eat lasagna. While this is entirely realistic for a real cat, which cannot eat anything but meat or kibble with meat protein in it, Garfield eats LASAGNA. That has meat AND plant ingredients. Garflings are genetically engineered to act like Garfield, so whoever made them would have included an increase to their pallete.

4. The Garfling is a PREDATOR. This is in spite of the fact that Garfield is LAZY. Garfield DOES NOT HUNT.

5. In my opinion, the Garfling does not Nuzzle enough. Garfield, despite being a lazy glutton, is a very kind, loving, and affectionate cat. You'd think he would love to Nuzzle his loved ones.


If you aren't interested in fixing this, that's okay (since it's your Mod). I can always try and Patch it if I can get it to work with V1.3 and V1.4 .

This Mod is absolutely amazing, and the art is beautiful. You have outdone yourself, and I am pretty sure that this Mod works in V1.3 .

I checked the code for the Garfling, and I think it could use some adjustments to be more faithful to the real deal. If you are willing to consider these recommendations, I would be greatly appreciative.

1. The Garfling's Hunger Rate is two tenths of one percent. We're talking GARFIELD here. Those suckers should be EATING MACHINES. I'd set it at least at eight tenths, if not a whole integer.

2. The Garfling's Rest Rate doesn't appear to be different from a normal cat. Garflings are supposed to be lazy, aren't they?
