@Amomaly You can pick any weapons you wish. If it crashed the causes could be many ranging from a random issue or due to a corrupt file installation, hard to tell with those few info you provided.
If the issue persit I highly suggest you to open a Bug Thread on our Discord server including as many info as you can about it and the log file of when the game crashed ( Otherwise without it we can't pinpoint the cause of it )

The new update release date will be the 31st of October 2025! In the days prior to it, we highly suggest to follow the news submitted by us on our Discord server and on the main Mod Steam page because the new features included in the mod are lot ( ...and some works in a complete different way in respect to what you are accustomed ) and also the way in which we will release the material and the updates will drastically change. As always, thanks to all of you for constantly supporting and enjoying the Ukraine at War mod!!!

Is player not supposed to pickup enemy weapons? My game crashed after i picked one up.

@Luzzyyy As I said, the update arriving this month should fix all issues including conquest, be patient, or play another mod in the meanwhile.

So conquest is meant to be playable, and the maps were just crap?

Deleted the maps that had issue, nothing changed in this update beside that, the new update will arrive later this month be patient, it will fix the majority of people's problem.

@luzzyyy Unfortunately, during a period I was away, a bad decision was taken and those shitty maps were added. As I've said earlier, with the new upcoming update, all those crap maps will be fully removed once and for all. Sorry for the momentary disruption and thanks for using our mod! ;) S!

how are you meant to play this? i started a new conquest, launched up my day 1 attack, as ukraine, and the russian forces all just went and mobbed the capture point. so like 90 men were in about 20 square meters, literally just took that hilux with an mg and mowed down the entire force in one box mag. so... how am i meant to play? or was that just a bad map since there was no cover on the capture point? the map was also wide open in general. any help?

@Sick No need, soon there will be the update and all those crap maps ( Not done by me ) will be gone once and for all ;)

Is there a way i could edit the maps contained in the mod? Like some of the maps dont even have cover in some areas its all just flat ground with some trees.

@luzzyy, subscribe to download, once its done click on "workshop" next to "leaderboard" in the home section and activate it as per normal

Yep we are slightly late with it because we decided to release a more finished and polished work and we got some RL commitments too delaying it. Still a bit of patience....The update will arrive soon ;)

when will the update be released? Judging by the comments, it was promised at the end of september, but october has already begun

@Artic If you mean the dynamic Conquest campaign, yes. When in the Conquest main menu, switch the button at the bottom right from "Singleplayer" to "Cooperative" (it's the button beside the "Select Mission/Start" button). ;)

I can play dinamic company with my friends? Я могу с этим модиком в динамическую компанию с кентами играть? Типо в CTA gates of hell есть совместный режим, а тут есть?

Не знаю, правильно ли я понял, потому что переводчик даёт мне немного странный перевод, но если вы имеете в виду стрельбу танками, как артиллерией, то не думаю, что это возможно, потому что карты слишком маленькие, и снаряд не успевает повернуть траекторию. Да, думаю, это можно было бы сделать, если бы захотелось, но, на мой взгляд, при текущем размере карты это не имеет особого смысла.

@KATO Нет, наоборот. Мы усердно работаем над модом. Новое обновление должно выйти где-то к концу сентября ;)

Нет. Вам нужно выбрать первую вкладку сверху — «ГЛАБХАЯ». Под ней — ещё два подменю. Выберите нужное, это должно быть что-то вроде «МАСТЕРСКАЯ». После этого на вкладке ниже вы увидите все моды, установленные в вашей игре. Прокрутите страницу и найдите мод «Ukraine at War» и активируйте его. Если вы всё сделали правильно, вы увидите, как меняются изображения в меню. Присоединяйтесь к нашему Discord (нажмите на баннер Discord выше), и мы сможем вам помочь, потому что там много русскоязычных пользователей, и мы тоже можем писать на русском.

@TaNTo Nope. You need to select the first tab from the top " ГЛABHAЯ ". Then below it, there other 2 sub menus. Select the right one, it should be something like " МАСТЕРСКАЯ ". Once you have selected it, in the tab below, you should see all the mods you have installed on your game. Scroll and serch for the Ukraine at War one and activate it. If you have done all correctly you should see the menu images changing. If you join our Discord ( Click on the Discord banner above ) we can help you better because there you can find many Russian users and we can write too in Russian ;)

@RomanShadow, Yes this is happening if you have low-end pc, unfortunately the mod actually requires a bit more of resources than vanilla, it is also caused by the new maps that was a disaster at the end they was wrongly made (was our first attempt) it should be better in the next update also the mod got cleaned off unused assets so performance should be better, take in mind that the mod still requires higher setting than vainlla bcz of the hd content too
