This is a very fine mod. Do you have plans to expand it more?

I understand that the god-tier armor was added to allow players to fly, which allows them to explore the new area. However, instead of armor, couldn't the ability to fly have been added to a simple item... like a ring, amulet or cloak?

It sounds like a lot of work went into this. Though, it also sounds - especially from comments - that it went overboard. And does it negatively impact game performance? I'd love to try a "lite" edition with only some new areas in the sky to explore. But I'd not want to see end game stuff everywhere or lots of changes to the ground, esp. since I'm already using several other mods that make changes to the ground and/or adds mid to late-game stuff.

This was a cool mod but turned my steam deck and computer into a jet engine.

Armor is way over cooked, but not the main reason I couldn't bring myself to keep Skylands installed. If it was only the land masses in the sky, that look amazing by the way, I would love it. Unfortunately, it changes almost everything on the ground and places end game resources everywhere.

Thanks for downloading the mod! I hope it gave you some fun! The op equipment chest is only useful for those who want to visit the skylands without having to waste time. If you want to do a run in a canonical way, we simply advise against using the objects within it. At the moment I'm not working on expanding the mod... If anyone is interested feel free to create your own ''pack 2''. The boundaries of pack 1 are well defined and you shouldn't have any problems adding another mod to it. 470 downloads... wow! Yeah, gotta agree with the armour being a bit much, otherwise the rest of the mod sounds great

Amazing mod but please remove the "god-tier" gear in start location. Move them to final area or secretly on some floating island lol.

Gonna do new playthrough and ignore that cheaty chest. Hope you will do part 2 and expand it more so that all locations have floating islands.

Every player has the ability to fly right away. Check your locked skills in arcane magic. if it's your first time with the title, know that it's not necessary to run for the mod... And if you don't want to spend on skills, know that there are other ways to fly (I don't want to spoil you XD). Throughout the area I have landscaped and already so you can see a lot of my work. If you're in a hurry, behind the starting village (on the way to the cave) you'll find a waterfall (check screenshots). on top of it is a chest of epic gears that make you level up quickly and unlock the skill. Items will give you a ton of mana, useful to stay in flight longer.

Thank you! yes, the mod is heavy and maybe I worked a little too much at the limit. Lights, lots of overlays and dynamic elements... sorry that doesn't run well.

Yeah, I understand, I am having gtx1650, and if I tone down the setting it ruins its beauty, so i had to take out the mod to get near 60 fps, but i can really see people can enjoy it if they have high tier system, and i have favorited it, hoping some day i get the hardware to run it in its full glory, But first i need to get the job xd. I'm really sorry that the mod doesn't run well. unfortunately I own a 3080 and I don't realize the frame slowdowns. The whole thing is mainly caused by the torches, the lighting weighs down a lot. You can try playing around with the settings a bit but I guess you already tried that. I tried a first balancing but if I had to eliminate more points of light the aesthetics would suffer a lot. Thanks anyway for being interested in my work, I really appreciate it.
