This unusual effect is pretty good all things considered, and even the little touches like the cloud glowing the same color as the cosmic where the cosmic is orbiting just elevates the quality. Personally, though, I think its way too large with the cloud being too opaque, either shrinking it or making the cloud more transparent (or making the cloud more closely fit around the mercs head rather than above it) could make it less billowy and overbearing.

I like this. I'm a sucker for cloud effects (been a while since we got one, too) and this one isn't awfully obnoxious nor unoriginal.

The lack of asinine colour variants is also bery appreciated.

This looks nice, but would greatly benefit from actually being shown in-game. Too many people make this mistake imo.
