@Eonwe: Oh I am already
Aeternitas 28 Nov, 2015 @ 8:58pm
@mertmidnightangel: Hopefully not too boring! You'll certainly be looking forward to new stuff before long.
DraeneiXirena  [author] 28 Nov, 2015 @ 5:36pm
@Eonwe: Oh I understand, don't get me wrong, but there's no placement testing for things like IT capability in college, so if you're ahead of a class, you still have to take it. It's all about stuff I work with daily anyway, so it gets kinda boring LOL
Aeternitas 28 Nov, 2015 @ 5:34pm
@mertmidnightangel: Oh, I see. I like the sound of refreshing the basics. I'd always wished they'd have done that in high school for the first week, before jumping into the new content. Would you rather have this prereq to work through, or just jump into the stuff you want to do? I know it's necessary and all, but if you had that choice...?
DraeneiXirena  [author] 28 Nov, 2015 @ 5:28pm
@Eonwe: Well right now it's basic stuff, refresher on math, English 101. The computer class would be interesting if I didn't already know everything they were talking about, but it's a prereq for the degree I'm going for, so meh.
Aeternitas 28 Nov, 2015 @ 3:36pm
Good to hear. And you have my sympathies ;) Are you at least enjoying what you're learning about?
DraeneiXirena  [author] 28 Nov, 2015 @ 1:02pm
@Eonwe: Doing pretty good considering my summer nightmare. I started college in September and am going for my bachelors degree in information systems.

@ mertmidnightangel

It's no problem. I usually turn to YouTube or the WikiHow site when I have questions about stuff. I'm doing well, thanks. How are you? :)
heatherfertig 27 Nov, 2015 @ 1:59am
Ok, i just checked out that link and that is what i will do in the future. Thank you!
heatherfertig 27 Nov, 2015 @ 1:54am
i've seen those, they didn't answer my questions. i need a hands on tutorial. thank you all for your suggestions! i don"t think i watched/read the one you linked. I was focused on editing a bethesda npc, not makng my own.
DraeneiXirena  [author] 26 Nov, 2015 @ 8:36pm
And thank you for the reminder Eonwe! How's life going for ya?
DraeneiXirena  [author] 26 Nov, 2015 @ 8:35pm
I totally forgot to mention that LOL. Also, here's the guide I used for making my followers. You can use many of the steps in here for customizing AI and gear on any character in the game.

But yet, YouTube is a God for learning how to mod, it was another one of my resources.

@ heatherfertig

There's a series about modding with the CK for Skyrim on YouTube. It was made in a way that everything was broken down and started with making a new NPC, and so on. It had visuals and a step-by-step process kind of way to it. I don't remember the titles or the channel name, but maybe you'll have luck finding it on your own. Goodluck!
heatherfertig 26 Nov, 2015 @ 1:23am
Ok, i've tried google, I just can't find what i'm looking for in terms of answering basic questions.
DraeneiXirena  [author] 25 Nov, 2015 @ 8:19pm
@heatherfertig: I did indeed only use CK. Google is your friend in terms of tutorials, WAY easier. Truth is, the ones that tell you how to create a new character are great to use. The same steps for creating a character can be used to alter an NPC in game. It's how I learned how.

I was trying to make my own mod before I found this and your mod with facelifts, I decided to stick with this one cause the facelifts one their faces were grayish& no make-up or war paint showed up. Don't know what's up with that. I'd still like to try my hand at modding though, did you make all your changes with the CK alone? I'm stuck at the beginning and can't find anything about editing a character, it's all about creating one from scratch & I'm afraid i'll break my game somehow. Love your mod though, it's awesome to see Farkas use a bow :)

*nods* do what ya gotta do right?
Aeternitas 25 Apr, 2015 @ 9:33pm
@mertmidnightangel: Oh, I'm sorry about that. Maybe more than two really would be pushing it. It comes down to whatever works for you. :)
DraeneiXirena  [author] 25 Apr, 2015 @ 8:46pm
@Eonwe: Actually with all the health problems Eddie and I have decided to end it at 2. We're both afraid that if I push it again I'll wind up at the hospital, and him taking ork off to care for the kids would be a VERY bad thing financially, so it's just better to stop at 2. Sucks, cuz we wanted 3, but this way I will be guaranteed to be there for my children I already have. I have to think of them.
Aeternitas 25 Apr, 2015 @ 8:42pm
@mertmidnightangel:Well then, my only advice is to just enjoy it! Hey, maybe you'll even shoot for a third someday and get to have fun with it all over again? I wish you all the luck in the world! :)
DraeneiXirena  [author] 25 Apr, 2015 @ 8:37pm
@Eonwe: Oh it is hun. My daughter was a miracle in every sense of the word (and DAMN good at hide and seek, even unborn) but she did so much to help heal our family you have no idea. I'm actually enjoying this pregnancy in a way, even with the issues, cuz this time I'm feeling everything, whereas with my first she gave the terms surprise a whole new meaning.
Aeternitas 25 Apr, 2015 @ 8:31pm
@mertmidnightangel: I'm not a mom myself (and probably won't be for a few more years) but I guess when you have one to give all your love, you want another to do it all over again. I think I can relate though - my parents and I were given a 2-3 week old rescue kitten to look after and teaching a cat right from the beginning how to do everything was quite the experience. I hope it's the same warm, accomplished feeling with a child of my own flesh and blood.
DraeneiXirena  [author] 25 Apr, 2015 @ 8:28pm
@Eonwe: Indeed, just sometimes it's hard, but meh, I wanted another kid nd I'll do what I gotta do
Aeternitas 25 Apr, 2015 @ 8:24pm
3 months? Oh boy, good luck! It'll be worth it in the end, I'm sure :)
DraeneiXirena  [author] 25 Apr, 2015 @ 8:15pm
@Eonwe: It is purely Valve. Bethesda has NOTHING to do with this at all. They quit working on Skyrim ages ago, hence why mods are still so necessary. I've sen isoku's stuff, and honestly, he has good stuff but all my money is going towards the baby. I ain't paying for mods. If it wasn't for the fact that I have so many subscribers here and I don't wanna punish the players, I would pull all my mods compltely, but I value my subscribers too much for that.

And thanks! ^_^ It's a boy this time too so I got one of eachl The doctor did say most of my issues should go away once I give birth. I just wish I wasn't so exhausted all the time. And I still got 3 months left of this LOL.
Aeternitas 25 Apr, 2015 @ 8:11pm
@mertmidnightangel: It's definitely not worth it, the 75/25 deal. Modders will gain nothing. Valve/Bethesda are simply using modders to improve the game they should have completed properly in the first place. I dropped all but one mod here on Steam and jumped over to Nexus, and I'm glad the fella in charge over there (Dark0ne?) addressed the issue. Everyone who's put their mods up for a price are getting serious backlash (isoku and laast to name a few) but I don't blame them. I actually feel sorry for them because they won't earn a penny in profits.

I'm trying to figure out what motivated Valve/Bethesda to do this. ESO belongs to Zenimax, so Bethesda wasn't losing money. This is all really suspicious though, considering it's happened right after the pay-per-month was dropped for ESO.

Congratulations on your pregnancy! I hope that those health issues won't persist and that everything will be fine.
DraeneiXirena  [author] 25 Apr, 2015 @ 8:04pm
@Eonwe: For one thing Valve is taking 75% of the profits. 75!!!!!! It's fucking INSANE!!! I'm actually gonna copy all my mods overto Nexus too. Still working on setting up CK so I can mod again, but I haven't had time due to health issues with my pregnancy. I'm sorry but it is RETARDED. I guarantee you, the ones who are charging now won't get hardly any downloads or any appreciation. One mod I love is charging now so I made a copy of my mods folder and put it in my spare hard drive so if something happens I won't lose it. Guy pissed me off by selling out.
Aeternitas 25 Apr, 2015 @ 7:57pm
@mertmidnightangel: That's great of you! I think that Valve and Bethesda made a very poor decison, and while the outlash was to be expected (hell, I'm really upset too!) I do believe that the posting of Bob's Army and some of the comments have been taken a wee bit too far. I think that if all of us had approached this problem with more maturity (even though Valve and Beth have proven they aren't any different), then things could have actually been resolved and we got have gotten that donation option instead.
DraeneiXirena  [author] 25 Apr, 2015 @ 7:45pm
Putting this out there right now, my mods will never EVER be charged for. They are and will always be free for all to use.
DraeneiXirena  [author] 30 Dec, 2014 @ 10:04am
@Eonwe: Thanks so much!! That's just one of the MANY issues this game has. If you look at my mods I kinda went and fixed all that I could find.
Aeternitas 29 Dec, 2014 @ 11:43pm
Gods you're awesome. Re-adjusting their perks is something a modder should have never had to have done (Bethesda!! *shakes fist*) I've subscribed to this and I'm going to see how it runs when I get around to the Companions. I hope everyone will be happier now that they have good armor and weapons to use! :D
DraeneiXirena  [author] 8 Dec, 2014 @ 3:56pm
@skaldtorvaldr: Thanks!
skaldtorvaldr 8 Dec, 2014 @ 11:32am
Nice brush up mod. Thanks!
DraeneiXirena  [author] 23 Jul, 2014 @ 11:12am
But you love me LOL. You should see what I did with my other one.
Rychester36 23 Jul, 2014 @ 9:30am
Btw, Free eye candy! lol You're crazy girl XD.
Rychester36 23 Jul, 2014 @ 9:29am
Ah, First again. Game set!
Very nice on making the Companions for skyrim more like. . .Companions. This is the perfect mod for me to try as I get further into their questline in my main characters act II. I'm glad to see too that this has more logic into it than it was in vanilla. Bethesda just threw this together and called it a faction. Oh brother. Another well done job Ms. Angel!
