Go into Development Mode at the start of your Gravship playthrough and spawn in 200 .ACP FMJ rounds. Do you really need to wait for an update when you can just do that?

Accuracy and lethality matching the weaponry adds to the overall drama, making combat feel more "realistic"; half-naked tribals should be little more than a nuisance to a space age colony.
Also I ran CE 1.5 on a 500+ modlist, the "CE is incompatible with everything" narrative is completely out of date and basically just misinformation.
Dont forget that since guns are more powerful in CE, you need to increase the difficulty slider to 500% in order for your enemies to have a chance. They dont have things like KLV machine guns, autocannons and better cover, so you need to give them abit of an advantage for it to be balanced
