It is being worked on it but things are delaying it.

Updated with an attempt to mitigate the XO black screen bug.
The underlying bug is still there (because I haven't found it) but the mod should now handle the error properly so it doesn't cause the black screen issue.

Confirmed what Ryan stated XO screen is black. Disable mod and it works fine.

It should, but manual repairs should never be blocked only automatic repairs. If manual repairs are blocked I expect there are errors in the log, because something went wrong.

So I got hit by depth charges and settled on the bottom at about 150m. I was on silent mode when hit. I was unable to do any repairs even after I turned silent mode off. Does emergency override silent mode's blocking of repairs?

somehow your mod makes my game unplayble. I can't complete missions at the XO. I go talk to him and the usual menu doesnt appear. it just stuck

I can't understand, how is it working now? Bonus and penalty for White light. Sometimes it is in red and sometimes in green.

Just tested now and didn't find any issues. Auto mode is working, Normal Lighting is working, Night Lighting is working.
Don't know what to tell you, maybe some other mod is interfering?

Seems to have stopped working for me. Cleared all folders and re-subscribed. Just stays on night mode dimmnes.

I actually have the right version, so not sure why the red light is on. I did take damage but it's all been fixed (just a leak)

Actually, I just noticed a mistake in my math that means it's at least 3 leaks, 4 damaged components, but the 1 leak and 2 damaged components is right, I didn't screw up the math there.
So that will need to be fixed. May expose the values to the config, not sure how I want to do that just yet.

You may have been running an older version. 1.1.1 and 1.1.2 used cumulative damage so it could end up triggering from old damage that was long since repaired.
In 1.1.3 Emergency Mode is activated:
1. When loading a save if the energy reduction effect of Emergency lighting was active in the saved game.
2. When you press the button
3. If Automatic Emergency Mode is true and you have at least 2 leaks, 3 damaged components (ie needing repairs) or 1 leak and 2 damaged components.

Would it be possible to enable different lightings in the boat depending on situation? As s.b. suggested below: Control Room would be redlight at night to gain the view bonus, and the other rooms would be dimmed white light and diesel regular white? Would look awesome and i assume that would be even closer to reality?

Initially, the colours were bizarre, with the settings for emergency lighting a sickly irradiating pink, the night light came on where the normal light was and it was suspected the Nvidia control panel colour contrast settings were to blame. The Nvidia settings were left alone though, and once a new career was loaded, the mod worked perfectly - lights bells and whistles!

Yeah sorry I dont know if its just me, but the "normal" daytime light intensity is like EXTRA bright. Like the globes are suns. Doesnt seem like the default white light anymore (which i assume its meant to be)

I lowered the Night Light to 50% and that seems better.

No, but this has it's own auto-mode that works with the auto-sub-light save/load sub-mod.
