again i cannot confirm this will work for you, these are just some steps that worked for me

if you have subscribed to this mod i believe that the scripts folder should be there, if not you should be able to make your own

Then you need to Paste the text document from earlier into the Scripts folder you found in the garrysmod (If there is already a decals_subdirect file in Scripts you can just delete it)

and boom! it (should) work!


Disclaimer: I am only going off what I figured out when attempting to get the mod to work myself and when repeating these instructions it did work for me but it may not work for you. these are only the steps I took to get the mod to work so if it doesn't then I apologise.

If you end up finding this addon and are struggling to fix the blue wall of text and/or you are finding the description vague let me help you out:

What you need to do first is download and open the file that you need to download from discussions that should be named woowz_new_impact_decals_v2

open the file and then open the Scripts files found within. you need to copy the text document inside called 'decals_subdirect'

You now need to find the Scripts folder made from this mod in the garrysmod file which can be found at: 'Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\GarrysMod\garrysmod'

The blue screen is showing up again even though i have downloaded this mod weeks ago and now its returned you guys know how to fix it or what the problem is, i thinks its other mods i downloaded but im not sure.

whenever i shoot a wall, it becomes blue with this text wtf

It's also quite stupid that if I want to uninstall it, it replaced all the original impact decals.
Uninstalling this addon with permanently corrupt gmod's impact decals.

Please remove this addon or help us get our files back.

I don't know, maybe some other mod that you put after that may be related to this, or some other mod has been updated

I had this mod for two weeks and it's causing strange things to happen.
Impacts crash the game or become missing textures.
Random files also appeared in my gmod files that have an unknown format.
