I am glad that it can also cause a mood penalty!

You can write what mod it was so people can avoid conflicts. Glad it worked. :)

i found the issue. Mod I was using voided the mod itself.

It should work. It has to be some other mod interfering. You can see wood hand and such on the screenshot above.
vickz 15 Feb @ 2:25pm
oddly enough doesn't allow you to add wooden legs...

not sure if this is just my side with all the mods i have downloaded but it isn't allowing me to add peg legs or wooden hands.

Finally! No more hacking off feet, replacing them with wooden ones, THEN removing those again!

...what, a man's gotta eat.

Great idea! Was just thinking this mod needed to exist
Hei 19 Dec, 2022 @ 4:44pm
work with mechlink?
kocy  [author] 9 Dec, 2022 @ 10:39am
hmmmn... i can look into this, but in general the mod was not designed to run in conjunction with harvest everything. I can't vouch for how harvest everything works. But has in general Rimworld uses a def for each body part and if you enable "<forceAlwaysRemovable>true</forceAlwaysRemovable>" it would read harvest for all body parts enabled by this. The "<removeRecipeLabelOverride>remove</removeRecipeLabelOverride>" makes it read remove instead of harvest. If you not set it, it would read harvest and there would still be no body part being "harvested" because it was not intended in vanilla rimworld. It all depends on how harvest everything handles this. :/

oh, and for additional details I tried with this mod before and after harvest everything, and it was the same behavior.
Cosmic Downpour 8 Dec, 2022 @ 5:32pm
it also looks like this handles some things differently than harvest everything.

for example, in harvest everything, harvesting arms is done from the shoulder (harvest left/right shoulder), so in this case because remove everything removers from the arm, both options show up (remove left/right arm, harvest left/right shoulder), but when it comes to the legs, they both do the same thing, and this mod seems to overwrite harvest everything (only shows option to remove left/right leg, with no harvest option).

having compatibility between these mods would be great because they cover different things (harvest doesn't allow you to remove damaged, such as bruised parts, or limbs missing parts like missing fingers; where this mod lets you cut off damaged limbs, for example from prisoners you don't want running around)
Cosmic Downpour 8 Dec, 2022 @ 5:22pm
I have this loaded after harvest everything, since limbs that have damage to them (like a hand missing fingers) can't be harvested (which makes sense); but it looks like in some places "remove" is overwriting "harvest", and I can't tell if I can still harvest? Like, now if I want to harvest an arm, it only gives me the option to remove it, and I don't think it actually gives me the arm.

Oh I was looking for something with this function! My vampire bloodfarms are going to be even more efficient. Thank you!
kocy  [author] 18 Nov, 2022 @ 6:51am
Yes. You can add this to an already existing colony. I already tried that successfully.
Biggie Cheese 18 Nov, 2022 @ 5:58am
can i add this to an existing colony?
kocy  [author] 17 Nov, 2022 @ 6:23am
Thanks for the suggestion FrozenSnowFox.
I will add spines to be removable, too.
Indeed the more economical solution. haha :ily:

Thank you, just what I needed!
FrozenSnowFox 16 Nov, 2022 @ 10:17pm
Nice work, I honestly prefer this over one that adds extra body parts. You did however forget spines. Why do two operations to remove both legs when you can just remove the spine?
