Thank you for your commitment to keep mods alive!

If you might want to ease your list of cared for mods - this mod might have become redundant, as it seem "World Designer" does the same, but with optional additional features.

Keep it up! <3

Thank you for update it.
Little Dave 11 Aug @ 12:48am
It does seem to be generating solid ice alongside other stone types, and obsidian alongside other ores, when those should only spawn in certain circumstances.
Барон Эссен 3 Aug @ 3:48am
Finally, thanks a lot!
Mlie  [author] 3 Aug @ 12:13am
@WebSlug I just continued it however, all credit should go to the original author
WebSlug 2 Aug @ 11:37pm
Thank you for creating the mod and continuing to update it.
liamse 1 Aug @ 8:24am
Now that it is updated to 1.6, am I the only one seeing solid Ice placed all across the planet?
VerucaKatt 29 Jul @ 1:38pm
@mgspecter Thought it was updated already for some reason... Didn't really look at the version numbers.
mgspecter 28 Jul @ 3:46am
@VerucaKatt It hasn't been updated yet. Please wait patiently like the rest of us. The worst thing gamers can do is constantly pester a modder with "When, when, when" posts. It distracts them from updating and annoys them into not wanting to reward $h!tty behavior.
VerucaKatt 21 Jul @ 1:03pm
Pro: I appreciate you keeping these abandoned mods running. Con: I don't think this one is working properly. I used to get lovely maps full of mountain. Now, even with the setting all the way up, I get tiny little slivers, even worse than old vanilla.
Darknote 13 Jul @ 5:42am
Indeed, thank you Mlie for all the hard work you do for our community.
Caz 9 Jul @ 11:35am
Thank you for all your hard work, Mlie. I know I've said this for previous X.0 updates, but your dedication to the mods for Rimworld is truly appreciated. <3
WolfShine 22 Jun @ 1:03am
Patiently waiting for the update to 1.6, thanks for your work Mile
Mlie  [author] 17 Jun @ 11:18am
@Nhyrra Updating all mods, see discord for detailed progress
Nhyrra 17 Jun @ 11:15am
I would love it to see a update to 1.6 for this mod :3

@eastpaw

There is currently an incompatibility between Geological Landforms and Configurable Maps, causing the issues you described. It will be fixed in the next update of Geological Landforms. For now, I recommend not using the two mods together.
eastpaw 1 Nov, 2024 @ 2:47pm
Update: Once I uninstalled this mod, both the Map Preview and can't-visit-quest-location errors went away.
eastpaw 1 Nov, 2024 @ 5:07am
This appears to be partially incompatible with Map Preview. Having both installed causes an error to occur about 10% of the time you click on a world map hex whether in-game or in game setup.

I'm also now facing a problem where my caravan cannot visit a quest location (no map spawns and the caravan sleeps endlessly on the target hex). Am uncertain if that is caused by this.

Just tested [KV] Configurable Maps (Continued) all by itself (with Harmony).
Either the 'Walls Made Local' setting doesn't work or it does something entirely different from what I think it does. Whatever it could be I had no idea.
Mlie  [author] 2 Jul, 2024 @ 10:07pm
@Rohzdear No idea, never used a mod like that. If you link to it I can have a look
Rohzdear 2 Jul, 2024 @ 7:34pm
Is there a known incompatibility with the 'Walls Made Local' feature?
From what I understand, having this set to true should make the walls and other materials from Ruins be made from the local resource types available (no Marble ruins if there's no marble on the map), but I don't see any change in behavior with enabled.
Carl 11 Jun, 2024 @ 1:13am
do you think there's a way to influence the chances of larger ruins spawning instead of small ruins?
Carl 10 Jun, 2024 @ 2:40pm
ran a couple tests, seems ruins is the broken-down structures and shrines are ancient dangers.
Mlie  [author] 10 Jun, 2024 @ 1:47pm
@Carl Not sure, they are just different types of map-features in the code
Carl 10 Jun, 2024 @ 11:08am
what's the difference with ruins and shrines in the config?
Torven 18 Apr, 2024 @ 12:28pm
Cool. Thanks for all your work.
Mlie  [author] 18 Apr, 2024 @ 10:32am
@<eVa> Torven Should be fixed now
Torven 17 Apr, 2024 @ 1:56am
Just as a heads up, something in this mod doesn't play well with the Pit Gate's undercave and keeps the pocket map from generating correctly. I'm assuming it has to do with the flesh blocks not being part of the standard map generation options.
Pozzo 15 Apr, 2024 @ 9:06am
Good stuff :radiantheart:

There is a blank space in the mod options,When I opened it today

I get mud, biome doesn't matter, it's all mud
Sunlight88 26 Jan, 2024 @ 10:34am
Most important mod! Thanks for maintaining it, Mlie! :-}
Mlie  [author] 20 Jan, 2024 @ 10:52pm
@Sammich They have their own code for generating their maps so there is little I can do to affect it. You should ask on their page for such settings instead
Sammich 20 Jan, 2024 @ 8:00pm
the mod doesnt seem to affect the biomes from biomes! caverns. i upped the mountain amount so i could make a proper mountain base in fungal forest but nothing changed
Ted Jerro 19 Nov, 2023 @ 8:40am
This is causing some bizzare issues when combined with Cupro's Stones (https://gtm.steamproxy.vip/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2018621294) and VFECore (https://gtm.steamproxy.vip/workshop/filedetails/?id=2023507013) . The postfix in VFECore is getting nulls passed as result from the prefix for "World.NaturalRockTypesIn" in this mod. Removing Configurable Maps seems to fix the issue.
BlueLeafy 5 Aug, 2023 @ 4:39pm
Okay I found the problem. It was a... corrupt preference file...? I don't really understand it, but deleting everything in the rimworld app data folder fixed the issue.
BlueLeafy 10 Jul, 2023 @ 10:51am
I only see one entry for 1.4 and it was updated 5 months ago, which I think is when this started. Guess I'll have to find an alternative means of altering stones on my planets... Thanks anyway.
Mlie  [author] 10 Jul, 2023 @ 7:28am
@BlueLeafy All previous versions are available on github
BlueLeafy 10 Jul, 2023 @ 5:47am
Hm... Well, it worked before. I don't suppose you have an older version on hand for me to use? The one before the last update?
Mlie  [author] 9 Jul, 2023 @ 4:11pm
@BlueLeafy Im not sure but it might be due to it fetching private fields to modify using some method that does not exist in the Mono-version of .Net. Not sure what to do about it as I have no Linux to test on
BlueLeafy 9 Jul, 2023 @ 3:49pm
For the past few months I have been unable to open the world settings window of configurable maps. It throws a thousand errors. Windows has no problem loading this window at all, so it seems to be a ubuntu problem. The log uploader doesn't seem to be working either, so I had to upload this to google drive. Hopefully this works... https://docs.google.com/document/d/1V3w0sVqBfW_s64qxuk1Q3MyKASYnU9ZkHJqV-j6CBrc/edit?usp=sharing
Caz 17 Feb, 2023 @ 3:47am
Thank you for continuing this mod, Mlie! Being able to adjust geysers and ancient complexes and stone types is invaluable. As always, you are amazing! Thank you again!
Rohzdear 5 Feb, 2023 @ 7:12pm
Everything seems to work together now. Thank you.
The options are a bit cramped when used alongside 'ReGrowth: Expanded World Generation (Continued)', but everything is availailable as long as the World Preview option is hidden.
Mlie  [author] 5 Feb, 2023 @ 1:30pm
Fixed the button placement when Faction Control 1.4/Random Goodwill 1.4 is loaded. Should work better now
Rohzdear 5 Feb, 2023 @ 9:40am
@GoopsterDoop Doesn't work for me.

Putting this mod above Faction Control 1.4 and Random Goodwill 1.4 simply replaced the button settings for one of the two. The button names will be those of the two lowermost mods in the load order, but the settings inside those buttons will be of the two highermost mods.
Vartarhoz 5 Feb, 2023 @ 4:40am
I don't think fertility option works at all. Even with lowest setting map is full of soil. Even in deserts.
GoopsterDoop 4 Feb, 2023 @ 10:56pm
Was able to get it to work with all my mods including Faction control 1.4 and others (has to order it above Faction Control), only thing that wasn't working was with Map Reroll, regardless of where I placed it in the order, my game functioned properly without this mod once I removed it from my save (aka, didnt get Map Rerolls automatic message about a bug with another mod)

tldr: wasnt working with Map Reroll, wasnt sure where to put it on my list
