When I checked it seems the option is no longer there. I assume it was an older feature.
Make sure you are using the 64-bit version of the game, and try turning 'shader effects' off in the game settings. If you still have problems you may need to join the official rusted warfare discord server and ask for help there, as I cannot help much without an error message.

How do you disable OpenGL in Rusted Warfare?

disable openGL rendering as that has caused crashing issues in the past.

Keeps crashing a lot. Edited fallback64.bat to have 12 GB of RAM in Rusted Warfare but that didn't help.

yo btw,please buff the hunter,hes litteraly so bad,he gets killed by any kind of nuclear explosion (like when a big unit dies) he also cant do anything against more than 2 dreadnoughts,eventhough they are worth less,personally i would make the hunter explosion and projectile proof,like the general who can deflect stuff

before the end of the year for sure. The main update features are done for 6 of the 7 factions (6 of 8 if you include the dominion addon)
So likely finished before the end of October.
As for Oriolus aircraft, I'll look into it.

i belive the oriolus need a new turret and defenitley new air units,when i played oriolus against torn space i got obliterated since NOTHING exept an atlas or general was even able to graze the enemies,and alos what does on the way mean? this month,this year or this week? :hot_explorer:

A major update is one the way but the Oriolus aren't getting any new units. If you believe they need something specific then let me know and I'll consider it.

I figured as much, as for what I was suggesting, was to some how have buildings tied to commanders, but I highly doubt that's possible or even practical. Just tossing out ideas.

I'm not sure what you mean by assigning buildings to commanders.
But sadly, I cannot implement any way to re-assign drones with multiple are selected. I tried, but rusted warfare has some limitations for such unit setups.

Would it be possible to Assign buildings to the Arkan commanders? as it currently stands having to select every individual unit to reassigned them to a random commander can be a bit time consuming. unless there is something i'm missing? Selecting more than one, doesn't give the option for reassignment.

Either way i'm loving the mod, have to say I really like the Oriolus, Terrans and Maxwell!

Some sprites may be updated over time. A few dardarndroe units currently have updated sprites in the works but no others at the moment.

the hover and mech builders are just for crossing water of cliffs respectively.
Although I might have one of them target aircraft instead of ground units at some point to differentiate them a bit more.

Just played the new faction - wanted to report back that I see no difference between hover and mech builders beyond their appearance, prices also feel very standardized as if they're being beta-tested. Love their gimmick though, would also consider either speeding up the tier-up process of buildings, or spreading the units across more tiers.

Worth noting after a long game as maxwell: Orion's gunner mode won't acquire targets or auto-fire somtimes, and melee mode on the edges of the maps can make him teleport out of bounds. Also the submarine transport cannot transport 'mech' type units, which includes all but the most basic infantry. Just thought this was worth noting. Still having a blast with the mod.

why does it show a ground unit but all the factions start off with a hover unit instead of a ground unit?

Oh! I also noticed the tooltip for the cloning bunker (t1) says it has credit generation, but doesn't actually have it

Their economy is quite vulnerable compared to other factions but it can be built quite fast. Using fast veteran-level soldiers is usually the best option for hitting enemies and escaping with minimal losses, but if you need to soften them up you can use heavier vehicles like the missile tank. Either way, Krovnorks are at their strongest on the attack so try to keep up the pressure.

Ahh okay. Do you have any tips for playing as Krovnork Raiders? Normally I played The Dardarndroe Infection, but I've found Krovnork Raiders quite fun too.

@Bruticus09, could you tell me what errors are appearing? If you have any other mods turned on that replace the HQ then it might override the faction drop capsule and break things as well.

@Curious, the Krovnork building upkeep is admittably part of a very old balance choice when the meteor strikes were far cheaper and the drop strike just created new unit squads. I might remove it at some point. As for the turrets, it's just to encourage more aggressive behaviour.
Some of the descriptions have gone without a proper update in a long time as well, i'll work on that for the next balance fix.

i just shows a bunch of errors wen i start the mod i have to go to the choose a starter unit just to play as one of them but it makes the enemy the same force as well

I've also noticed that Krovnork Raiders turrets (when upgrading) have no description in the upgrade. And for some reason, their turrets also have an upkeep to them? Which is odd cause I don't think any of the other factions have that downside.
Like a lot of their buildings have negative upkeep for seemingly no reason (Like their version of a nuke has -100$ upkeep, but no one elses nuke buildings have that?)
Not sure why the flesh farm has upkeep.
They seem super map dependent on if they're good or not.

The Krovnork Raiders seem a little weak when it comes to their economy. Like they can only build refining pits around drills.
Something also odd I noticed, is the description for the Advanced Bio Engineering Facility says it generates credits at an impressive speed, but it's just +5.

@Bruticus09, it should just replace the default HQ, so you select the unit once you start and get to pick a faction from there.

The old version of Harkius Wars is out of date but it is more performance efficient thanks to the simpler AI.
