Does this mod still work?

up until the last Dayz update we used to be able to carry open barrels using this mod and loot would overflow into open barrel in our inventory- this no longer works this way after the last major update- Please fix this mod so once again we can carry open barrels for loot overfill

does this actually work with inventory plus or inventoryplusplus, cant seem to pick barrels up.

I may have other mods that may be conflcting but i will check it out and see

Ah, okay. Becaouse in the description it says "300 inventors slots" - so, this mod does not touch the inventory slots at the moment, if I understood you right. Okay.

This mod only allows players to put full barrels into their vehicles and inventory (if you have the space) I will add to this mod later on today so the barrels only take 4 slots in your inventory.

I was going to combine the 2 mods but it would of stopped people use inventory plus from being able to use this mod

I have another mod that makes the barrels have 500 slot but has a conflict with inventoryplus. If you dont use inventoryplus install my 500 slot barrel mod.

Hey Maverick. First: Thank you for the effort you guys put into modding. We are thankful, it brings more life into the game.
I have just tried out this mod, but it seems that it only allows to carry a fully loaded barrel. However, the number oft slots was not increased, also the size of the barrel itself when placed into a car (for example) stays original.
May we dive deeper into this issue?
Is was not a fresh server, it is one I have started two weeks ago. May this be the impact?

Most of it is quite simple really, Im no expert but know enough to get by. The mods I make are just simple config overrides mainly they are quite simple. I wish I could do something more complex and I guess over time ill get there but thank you for the compliment :-)

@MavericksMayhem that is amazing, can you really make such a mod? That`s absolutley awezome. You must sit on much knowlege to do this kind of stuff you do.... I almost get a brain meltdown just to edit the xml`s while you cook together a mod in a jiffy hahahaha. you are just awesome.

I'll use it. I don't have inventoryplusplus because of the ghillie issue.

I now have a working barrel size mod changing barrel sizes to 500 slots but it wont work with inventoryplusplus unfortunately

wohoo... then i got another mod-challenge for ya. ;) Another idea, mabe build on the mod inventory in car or car-inventory mod.
the idea is to allow passengers in car to load guns and use other items from theirs or car items. So the passangers can eat or load weapons while the other player drive ;)
When they arrive destination the guns are loaded, the belly is full and they are fit to fight :)

@MavericksMayhem Yes your fix seems to have solved the issue. Thank you for all your great work and efforts, much appreciated. Tried to use inventoryplusplus to get the 300 slots but it has a conflict with ghillie craft and breaks the dedi ghillie slot.

@MavericksMayhem, You are the first who has made a backpackmod like that ;) the mod is Awezome :) Now there will be loot-runs on a new level ;)

The backpack fix works fine. Ill include the backpacks on the mod which can be packed into your inventory and cars full

The barrels should be able to go inside cars full with this mod. I can also make another the same for backpacks however it will only be for vanilla backpacks as i cant add all mod backpacks

I thought if we can lay bags on the ground with full inventory then maybe it could work in the cars own inventory,
If the cars do not registred the inventory on the backpack maybe the bag or backpack will use the same space in the inventory on the car like when the bag is empty, for now we can not lay backpacks with stuff in the cars inventory, that make no sense as we can do that in the real life ;)
There must be a value in one ore more file that can alter this as the game reconise if there is something in the backpack inventory while trying to lay it in the cars inventory?
If that was a thing then the cars dont have to get a attachmentslot and be compatible with all modded cars also.

Is it possible to make it so you can lift the barrels off the truck without have to empty it first? and I have a mod idea for you if you want ;)

it is logical to could put a filled backpack in the car is it not? ;) is it difficult to make a mod so people can fill backpacks and throw it in the car? just think of the uportunities we could have on a lootrun to do that :D I hope this made a spark on a mod-idea for you :)

@MavericksMayhem, Yes it work like you say, but the barrel still have only 150 slots and not 300.
Therefor I thought there was another barrel to be made out of the vanilla ones ;)

You cant make the barrels with me mod but I can add a crafting ability so you can craft them

KennyBall, It works with vanilla barrels stated above. Once you add the mod you will be able to fill and carry and also put into your inventory the barrels full.

The problem should now be solved for you, one of your mods had the same .pbo name so I renamed my .pbo.

I apologize, I should have clarified. The server has the mod @better fuel barrels;@loot barrel transfer; installed. No worries, probably way too many conflicts to hash out. I appreciate your efforts, thank you very much.
