Boss, I wish it was a little longer. I'll reduce the weight a little bit. It's hard to see because it's too small. Actually, I'd like more intersection. I hope it's as long as Kane's chainsaw.

@#bigChief I have been considering adding the chop trees function to the sword. As far as the destroy option, I feel it would make it a bit OP but simply hitting doors knocks them down pretty fast with it if that's all you're going for.

I feel as though this should have tool effect like for sawing down trees or destroying walls like with the sledge i always thought of the chainsword as multipurpose equipment similar to the lancer from gears of war. great work though looks and sounds awesome

I play with insane pop and sprinters during fog, with Horde night and the Darkness is coming mod as well. I'm fine thanks. Was jsut a suggestion from me. Chill.

I've finally found this bad boy in some military crate. Works like a charm! Cool sound too! Was wondering if it is possible to add that it requires battery or gas to operate? Like it drains some of resource each swing, just to balance it out? Would be really cool. Thanks again!

@Lord Horrick Conorem this should work in MP, I run it in my dedicated without issue. We haven't looted one yet, but the distributions should be the same in MP and single player, so shouldn't matter. @BreakUrSelf they seem to be pretty rare. Spawn locations are tied to places where you find guns, so stashes, military crates, gun store shelves, etc.

@BreakUrself I can try to upload a video. May be a bit. You can always load the mod and throw -debug in your launch parameters to get the spawner menu in-game if you want to play with it without having to find it. It scales on long blade. It is animated and based on a machete but with better stats (it's a chainsword afterall). Has a similar length and dmg/crit to the katana but is a one-handed long blade like the machete

@vegyeti There is a sound effect on zombie and tree hits. I didn't add an idle as I didn't want it to get old/annoying after hitting stuff for hours on end haha. Mostly made this for a fun play through. @Brandon Stark you have to find it but I may add a crafting recipe in the future
