Sory for not updating the mod but i really am not a good modder i had this idea and copied other mods and modified them to suit the fantasy i had. Now the game is getting more and more complicated maybe i will look into it but is difficult to create something that is compatible with every mod you need to be picky when choosing wich files to modify. Usually a mod author's interests may change, they move onto other games, they have personal issues of whatever levels, or they get tired of the game constantly changing due to updates. They don't owe us anything. They don't get paid for these mods and nothing compels them to even post them. Let's be grateful that they do these things and post them for all of us to enjoy.

Is it a shame when mods go dormant? Of course. I've seen many a great mod that disappears into the ether. That being said, one can always learn how to mod and update them yourself. There are plenty of resources available to learn how to. And if they do, they can then post an update to the mod for everyone else to enjoy!

People who respond in the way you did tend to discourage people, not tempt them into re-appearing. I get the frustration, but attacking someone with no evidence is not helpful.

Just use the divine intervention menu mod. Other than that, it works just fine for me.

I will not change the mod since is designed to work on all versions of the game....if you are bored i use advanced cheat menu and overpower a random npc manualy (immortality,gold,khan trait,boost stats...)

Maybe you can pair this with the Great Conqueror mod? This way you can apply your mod to randomly choose ai npc with the great conquerors trait. It would solve weaknesses on both mods since I find that Great Conquerors generally die before they can fully make an empire.

I personally find the game bland without mini-Genghis Khans randomly popping around every 20-ish years
