@Aradia from my experience, no its not. Game crash on save file loading.
Aradia 16 Feb @ 6:16am
secure to remove?
Hagurmert 17 Jan @ 9:47am
@ChainmailCowboy yes, I was able to find many of them spawning in, both normal and noble units. There will still be less female than male troops but it was consistent enough for me

Throughout one of my playthroughs, I used this mod... All of the vlandian, sturgian, Battanian and Khuzait female units were available in the bounded villages and towns (Both normal and noble units). In the Aserai, I could only find the noble units recruitable and no female normal variant spawned in any way. The empire, none of the female units can be recruited but the noble female empire units could spawn in the armies of empire nobles randomly. I would like to see a fix to this and enable all aserai and empire variants to spawn in villages and towns normally.

does anyone know a khuzait town/village that spawns female warrios reliably?
ThisIsOli 8 Aug, 2024 @ 8:37am
Seems like people have random issues lol, I never see any female bandits or looters, last game I did get female troops from several (but not all) factions,
ThisIsOli 8 Mar, 2024 @ 8:41pm
Been fighting bandits and checking recruiting locations, no females yet

Hey all, downloaded the mod and ran it today and it kinda works. The only female troops you will find are female bandits that you can upgrade into pretty decent troops. I was on v1.2.8.

Looter Parties spawn Looteress which is the very base, and the other rebels (mountain, sea, forests) have females as well that are a few tiers down the list on the tree. Hope it helps.

No female troops appearing in Battania, Sturgia or Khuzait Khanate. Not checked the other kingdoms. If you have cheats enabled, then you can grab them from the party screen, but can't recruit normally.

Mod works, but only for some cultures, no matter what settings. For the reference: female recruits spawn in Northern Empire, but not in other empires with same culture.
Ertai_15655 31 Oct, 2023 @ 9:55am
I couldn't find any female soldiers in the game even activating the MOD. It must be updated(ver1.20)
juicyjuice 3 Sep, 2023 @ 6:03pm
This mod doesn't work anymore. I turn everything to 100 percent female troops in the config to see if the mod is working properly and it's not. Needs update.
Stenz 1 Mar, 2023 @ 5:42am
@=(FGR)=Sentinel This mod is definitely not loading, according to the config file there should be a 25% chance of female troops spawning in Sturgia but after visiting hundreds of cities and villages, I've yet to see anything past the Sword Sisters in the base game

@Samurai Shampooh It depends on where you're looking. In most cultures, the ratio of female recruits to male is very low. For instance, in the Northern Empire, there's something like a 5% chance of an elite recruit being female and a 0% chance of standard female recruits, while Battonian recruits have a 40% chance of being a female variant with limited promotion/upgrade options. You can modify them by going to the location stated in the description. On the other side, the Southern and Western Empire aren't properly set in this, so you have to manually add them in before you can adjust their values.

dont see any female villagers to be recruited and ive been through several towns now. whats going on?
djliveris [Epirus] 23 Jan, 2023 @ 3:38am
Is the mod working? On new start it doesn't. I'm in 1.02 version

For those curious about getting this to work for player-run or created kingdoms, adding an entry for <MapFaction id="player_faction"> to the ATC.modconfig file located where the mod maker said will allow you to designate troops to be distributed in settlements belonging to your kingdom. <Clan id="player_clan"> will also allow you to designate a special composition to be given for player-controlled settlements, regardless of the kingdom your clan is part of.

You can use these with copies of a specific segment for one kingdom (minus the faction designation, which obviously would need to be changed) to get their troop compositions in your kingdom or override the kingdom's distribution for your own settlements if you're a vassal. On the other hand, you can use this to create custom recruit compositions so you can have powerful troops easily available. Just remember to double check that there's no errors either way.

Found a soultion! U have to double check that u r config file has no errors! One mistake and it won t work! So double check!
Tyr4nT 25 Dec, 2022 @ 4:51am
I have the same problem i changed the percentage and now the mod is not working! That means i can only recruit male!
=Levi4than= 9 Dec, 2022 @ 3:55pm
thats a shame
Gadzooks739 8 Dec, 2022 @ 7:27pm
from what i noticed the mod doesn't work if you have your own kingdom
=Levi4than= 3 Dec, 2022 @ 12:32pm
it looks like there is no change at all, have i done something wrong? should they show up in the normal recruiting window?
Gadzooks739 1 Dec, 2022 @ 4:28pm
Does anybody else have the problem where changing the percentage doesnt work and disables the mod from working in factions that have had the value changed
☆♥StarCavalier♥☆She/Her 23 Nov, 2022 @ 3:42pm
Wondering if you could do this for the bandit and minor faction units as well? Love this mod, thank you for making it!
Brotha 16 Nov, 2022 @ 7:53pm
it's fantasy:steammocking:

Can also confirm that Drenghbar's advice for adding new blocks with empire_w and empire_s in the XML fix the issue for recruiting female recruits from those factions.

Also if you're running this on Steam Deck/Linux, the path to the XML should be steamapps/workshop/content/261550/2884724013/Config/native_female_ATC.modconfig.xml
Furble 13 Nov, 2022 @ 12:11pm
Is anyone else having a problem where the owner's culture overrides the settlement's culture for troop recruitment?
Mechanique  [author] 13 Nov, 2022 @ 6:52am
Interesting, I assumed it worked as a culture rather than the kingdom
Drenghbar 13 Nov, 2022 @ 4:00am
I have found the problem. In the config file, the mapfaction "empire" only selects the northern empire. New blocks with "empire_w" and "empire_s" need to be created for the southern and western empire to spawn female troops. I've edited the file and tested, it works. Thank you again for your work.
Drenghbar 12 Nov, 2022 @ 3:16pm
Thanks for this mod !
I must confirm that it does not work for the empire, and the ATC file is correctly updated on my end.
Prkl8r 11 Nov, 2022 @ 9:19pm
Also, I'm having the same issue where it works for every faction except the Empire ones.
Prkl8r 11 Nov, 2022 @ 9:05pm
Does this add female bandits too?
White Rabbit 11 Nov, 2022 @ 6:49pm
Editing the XML in the location you crossed out is the correct XML to edit. The one in the ATC folder merges all the army changes from various mods, so it always gets rewritten.
Tear Through Bulge 11 Nov, 2022 @ 3:03pm
I'm also having issues with certain factions not getting any female recruits. I've set the Empire to be 75% female, 26% male and all recruits that I've seen have still been male.
Proxima-b 10 Nov, 2022 @ 8:16am
I had a similar mod, but I encountered an issue about the face template “BodyProperty.fighter_battania”, which is nowhere to be found in the game xmls, how did you get around this?
MeGrand 9 Nov, 2022 @ 10:55am
Following that hint, directly copying the settings file from your mod into the folder for ATC fixes the problem and the spawn rates are now set ok. thanks
Artfactial 8 Nov, 2022 @ 9:59pm
I love this so much, thanks for doing it.
The config file is very useful, but any chance there'll be a MCM option later so that we don't have to re-edit the values after (possibly)every update?
DasDil 8 Nov, 2022 @ 7:16pm
Other faction are fine but my own faction cant recruit female. also i did increase 100% from modconfig and it didnt work for player's own kingdom faction.
Mechanique  [author] 8 Nov, 2022 @ 2:32pm
@MeGrand Did you wait for new troops to spawn? Also you can check ATC file as well in C:\ProgramData\Mount and Blade II Bannerlord\ATC
I have a suspicion it only copies value the first time ATC detacts config and further changes are not read

@DasDil Do you mean troops dissapear from all other kingdoms or just your own?
+HarlotPrincess+ 8 Nov, 2022 @ 1:53pm
hell yeah.
MeGrand 8 Nov, 2022 @ 12:54pm
Sort of works and sort of does not, despite setting the spawn rate to 50/50 for all civilisations, it only works for some of them batternain, vlanadia, and kuzatis work, imperials and aseria do not
DasDil 8 Nov, 2022 @ 9:50am
It seem player's own kingdom town and village cant recruit female from every faction.
Lorrater璟 8 Nov, 2022 @ 6:59am
yes I need this!!
Apotheosis 6 Nov, 2022 @ 9:20pm
it is fantasy
Smokey 6 Nov, 2022 @ 5:11pm
I love how it's fantasy:SkullofDoom:
Murakumo-No-Tsurugi 6 Nov, 2022 @ 2:07am
Is there a chance to get looters and so forth as females to?
Storm 5 Nov, 2022 @ 8:53pm
Are they also changed when you use Bannerlord Armies Redone or De re militari?
Rayne 5 Nov, 2022 @ 10:41am
thank you so much ^^
Kaiser2.0 5 Nov, 2022 @ 9:21am
