Privileged white kids lol. No qualms with trapping and eating rabbits and raccoons and shooting deer but heaven forbid you eat a cat lol. Besides in an apocalypse setting, cats would be plentiful, they're already EVERYWHERE and they can fend for themselves so they'd be a plentiful food resource and easier to catch than rabbits.
