Does 1.6 VOID still build planetkillers? If so anyway to stop that? Instead of destroying the settlement cause its usually across the map while im 2 days into a naked brutality game.

Indeed, it should say 'wandered in', honestly I get Void or N4 raids pretty rarely, perhaps because I have a ton of other race mods installed and the games takes one faction ranomly from the pool.
I even have the multiple raids mod which spawns 1 or 3 extra raids when a raid is happening so I can end up with 3-4 big attacker groups at the same time, but Void is very very rarely among them. I don't know why you get them so often

Mmm, I think there's something wrong there yeah. But I mean like, the raid thing seemed too consistent and too constant, especially for the difficulty and storyteller. It was always reapers and always much higher than even what VOID would give me. Also instead of saying N-4 Infected wandered in it said it was a raid by the N-4 Infected faction.

They should not grow, they dissapear after a short time after death. And the reason of you getting raids like that is because you installed V.O.I.D ,now suffer the consequences

My most esteemed individual why on gods green earth am I regularly getting all reaper raids at of 40+ at 60k colony wealth a few days in? I am befuddled and bemused. Also why do the reaper corpses for whatever reason grow to the size of a building instead of disappearing? Are any of the things I am experiencing intended?

Idea: a scenario that makes the game like dead frontier. Random bases will get overrun by N-4 and the map biomes will be like zones or something. Over time they could evolve? It'd probably need a shambler-like for the normal zombies.

so i have a mod that adds quality for bionics and all voidtech bionic in their bases spawn at awful...

also i landed at a science site. i saw everything while looking where to land, and after i landed i had fog of war on my ship even. also game counts it instantly as destroyed...

@radiosity yeah but they keep sitting IN THE CAFETERIA AT THE TABLE then grabbing a bottle of wine, blacking out and then getting taken to bed. Then they make a beeline to do it again when they recover lol. My headcannon is the N4 people are still somewhat sentient when controlled by the implant and this is their coping :/

Answering my own comment within minutes, lmao. There is a way, for anyone unsure. If your pawn is faction leader, at the very least. Enable devmode type in 'Spawn' and it will come up with 'Spawn Faction Leader' and your faction will be in the list. Brought back my leader, but his wife is still MIA. I'll update if I find a way.

Uh no spoilers please, first time install here. I just sent my two best soldiers to assault a base (suicide with their stats I know), via passenger shuttle, landed on it, said generating map then nothing happened other than deleting my two characters, which in the social of my other pawns says they're still alive. Yet, I have absolutely no way to control or find them. Wtf?

I'm on ironman and it saved as soon as it 'generated the map'.. except, it didn't generate one.Is there anyway to get these pawns back? Just ruined a 72 hour save if not

I mean, that's standard Rimworld animal behaviour ;p Alcohol has a small amount of nutrition, so if you're not using a mod like Animals Logic to prevent them eating things they shouldn't, then free-roaming animals will go for your alcohol stocks because to them it's 'food'. It's always amusing when it happens, though.

So my stalker N-4 tame and a claw arm one (forgot the name) keeps getting drunk on our red wine stockpile. Blackout drunk. They drink themselves into a days long coma then get up and do it again. 10/10 mod.

@Dr.Acula - If you want VOID without being demolished early, try Ignorance Is Bliss and Tech Advancing. The former stops factions who are more advanced from raiding you (configurable), and the latter lets you level up your tech level as you research, meaning you automatically open up the more powerful factions as you personally level up.

Though be careful, even with those mods active, you can still be hit with the insane VOID monsters. Stock up on N4 Control Implants, they can seriously save your bacon early on... assuming you can get close enough to use them without being one-shotted ;p Or just disable those raids in the VOID mod settings :)

Think I found a bug where the V.O.I.D. gear, when on an outfit stand, the helmet goes onto the chest. Like what it used to do with CE. Not sure if its only me or a mod I have or something, think I've had this with other armours and outfit stands as well.

A fully kitted void agent worths 680.000+ , I never had any lagg before when playing with the void mod, I had a leaper and a black titan, and despite they had a ton of injuries it didn't caused any lag

I suspected I wasn't but thought it still was worth mentioning. Having 1.200hp body parts is pretty insane. There definitely are things in this mod that I like (+5 beauty implant is cool for staggeringly ugly people :) ). Still I'm not overly fond of getting raided by technologically and statistically perfect enemies while I'm fiddling around with bows and arrows.

I made it survivable for myself by basically banning all nearby VOID bases in the settings :>

This mod can seriously tank your performance. Reason is that various enemies with how tough they are and how much HP they have it will take a lot of hits to actually take an enemy down. And every injury is being tracked. Especially if you catch a leaper (for example) and have it in combat against enemies I've seen situations where it survived over 600 hits/injuries. If you want to treat that "pet" it will take a lot of time and every injury being treated, causing bleed out or just healing requires "ticks" in the game which then results in lower and lower fps...

@ Slick You can't reform caravan until the map is 100% safe. Meaning every hostile pawn, creature, and TURRET needs to be neutralized.

Got my M1 Garands, a couple of grenades and confidence. Had my first N-4 raid, about 50 reapers. Chaff lookin' melee zombies, cool we're starting off easy.

"Small arms fire is highly effective against the reaper." - Says it right there on the tin.

My brother in christ, their fingers have more HP than my entire pawns body, they're 10 combat power, and they're pain immune. They can tank multiple .50 bmg rounds to the eyeballs and keep going. I was casevac'ing my colonists because they were falling asleep while I kited, I got up and made coffee because *I* was falling asleep while I kited.

Either the numbers are fucked, or your idea of highly effective is. This isn't unfair, it's unfun.

I have produced the full error log myself and sent it over, thanks again for the reports and please excuse the walls of text below. It's just a very important thing to hand over to the C# coders.

@Sgregor - I can't replicate this, it was fixed last time. I just sent pawns to a base and a ton of VOID pawns were there. If you aren't being raided by VOID specifically, please specify if you have a ton of factions and other mods that may dilute the incidents that storytellers may choose to trigger. It's just a drop in a sea of content, if they end up choosing not to send a raid from a certain faction.

You could still be dealing with a mod conflict so a full error log would be appreciated if you can produce one

It helps when I do get a hold of a coder and you present your error log. I understand you may have a mod conflict, but ChatGPT isn't reliable or telling me "It's broken" in so many words doesn't help me.

Please give us a hand, multiple reports and no full error log. Copy paste it in pastebin and send it to me so when they are available I don't just say "He says it's broken" or "ChatGPT says this" because I'll get laughed off and get shifted back to the bottom of the waiting list.
