Little update hopefully improves and fixes a few things.

this is the best thing ive seen fuel efficient, fast and insanly cheap

I did have issues with this myself, I think its just a bit too light with too much wing lift. Not sure how to fix it myself sorry. I can update it if someone finds a good solution though.

It works pretty well in general but one major flaw is how it flips in waves, like very easy flips in waves. It's messed me over several times and theres barely anything you can do to flip it over again

so i just flew this for the first time and i have one major concern: the bilge pump rapidly depressurizes the cabin, making it deadly if the hatch is closed. to fix this i added a fluid relief valve and replaced the air filter with a fluid port end. other than that this plane is fantastic

Battery drain is very high and you suffocate if you dont leave the hatch open :D

battery drains like hell, otherwise the plane works well

Maybe try a gas valve between the interior and outside.

I see someone else has the same problem, you keep taking what seems to be pressure damage when in the closed cockpit, but it stops when you open the hatch, any way to fix that?

I keep dying in the cockpit know what to do?

try having the top door open then turn them on then close it open th wings and fly away

Any idea how to start this plane on water? Whenever I start the engine, it kills me

it's great, cheap, perfect for rescue missions, and easy to handle. My only issue is when on land handling leaves much to be desired

@Wells There's an MC in the back, when in detects water it increases prop pitch.

how it takes off from water so smoothl? any sea plane i try to make just digs in water

@Kellvak 6 to brake the props (engine must be off) or you can use space for the wheel brake

is there a way to get the props to stop spnning once i get in it, min power still has them moving and the plane moving slightly

@TreeSparr Thanks for the very nice comment! I try and keep everything as simple and user friendly as possible.

Been totally addicted to space engineers recently, so probably no more Stormworks builds for awhile. As to how it's done, I got one good tip from this build. I used yellow coloured blocks for any cubes that could later be replaced, I think finished with about 10 cube blocks.

Between this and your starter boat, you have become the gold standard in my eyes.

Everything is well documented, intuitive, refined, actually stocked for missions, etc. Look forward to more crafts as well as hopefully a guide on how you do it!

I got it! I was holding W (you know, for up) and smashing the plane into the ground on takeoff.
trying too hard, as usual

increase collective to 100% and give it a little S key
then reduce collective to half power once in the air, flies great

the plane flies *really nice* and is easy to land on water, not too bad on land also
I just flew around for like 2 hrs on custom mode, the auto stabilizer is *sweet*. once you get airborne, it's easy to fly, almost hard to crash (with the stabilizer on)

it's a great design. my only feedback is that it's a bit hard to get in and out of the cockpit, as I discovered on my first, fiery practice landing

You shouldn't even need to pitch up (S key) as the the plane has auto takeoff.

I'm new to the game and trying to use this. I tried to take off from a runway but keep crashing. I think I'm using the Collective wrong? or should I be using a controller? the plane is really nice.. maybe I just don't know how to fly. thank you

When using it in multiplayer and I'm not the person hosting the world for some reason it puts the camera in my head so i can see my face. Does anyone else have similar problems

this mod is incredible first time playing only a couple hours in and just amnaged to get enough to spawn it in holy fucking shit it was idk how to explain it other that pure joy it handles so well and is so fucking easy to usethe onl;y thing id want is like a water canon for fires i love this thing its cemented in my workshop no matter what also the amount of stuff fit in the tiny cock pit and the ability for landing on water makes it a really good option for sea operations

@BloodVoid1996 Was thinking about making a tilt rotor, but probably with a different chassis. I'd like to see what you do with it, so if you add a credit with a link back here I don't mind if you upload it.

This is an impressive plane. Its light, nimble, and easy to fly after an hour of practice. I am wondering if you have any plans to make a similar build as a helicopter or tilt rotor vtol? The chassis looks like it could work for either with minor modifications. If not, would it be okay if I tried it? I won't post it without your express permission.
