A cherry on top would be if you could jump with the camera to the found items and cycle through it by clicking multiple times on that item in question (like it is the case when colonists have for example tattered apparel, clicking multiple times on that notification cycles through affected colonists).
Fixed hover area for resource list being way too wide when not in tree mode.
If it is counted as a resource, and thus listed in the resources listing along the left edge, then it is not included in the searchable list. You instead locate it by pointing at it in the resource listing.
You can set it to include resources in the list using the mod options.
