No problem mate, keep up the good work, looking forward to you future mods :D

I'm using GIMP.

I copied in the files you sent me. I figured out what my problem was. I had the textures duplicated in another mod for legacy compatibility and my changes in this mod were getting overwritten.

Thanks so much for your help.

Don't know what program you are using to make graphics but transparent part is not really transparent. I have sent you mail with PNG's that I edited and where I deleted that "shadow" background or whatever it is and now it works fine with Vanilla Psycasts Extended mod.

I've tried several different things now and I still don't understand what's causing those boxes; they still show up if I manually select the area in the image and delete it.

If you've managed to make files without the issue, send them to stevetempmail1414@gmail - I'll test them and update the mod. Thank you so much.

I fixed all images for my playtrough... if you want I can send you fixed .png images so you can just replace them, drop me a email or something if you want me to send them over.

@theothersteve7 Hey man... Since I like your mod so much I took some time to find the issue.. and the problem happens only on armors, helmets are fine.. the thing is transparent part of background on PNG's for all pawn types that face north or south it not completely transparent, side facing PNG is fine. There is like almost invisible shade of gray that is causing the issue, I was able to fix the issue by editing PNG's.
Since picture speaks more than 1000 words here are visual examples:

How it looks on 4 different body types:

This part not transparent:

Fixed for Hulk and Normal body type:

Man, that's weird. You're sure it's only when using this armor? Does it happen when you take off the helmet? Does it happen with only the helmet and no body armor? I went through the textures and I don't see any transparency problems.

It's a psycast ability that turns your pawn invisible for a short period of time... not even sure if that is vanilla psycast ability or it came with Vanilla Psycasts Expanded mod. But it works fine with other types of armor, evend moded ones just on this one it has that strange visual glitch.

Interesting. What do you mean by "casting invisibility"?
Hawk 21 Jul @ 3:55am
There is a some kind of overlay bug when using casting invisibility, strange squares appear on armor, perhaps this can be fixed ?
here is link to how it looks:

I wish we could dye the white parts of the chest and helmet so it's all red or black.
Lennybolt7 11 Apr, 2024 @ 5:41am
Thanks! Still one of my favorite armors out there!
theothersteve7  [author] 10 Apr, 2024 @ 8:03pm
(one year later) Yes. Now updated to use shader masks so it looks better when dyed. I decided to go with recoloring the gray parts and leaving the white and red.
Lennybolt7 19 Apr, 2023 @ 9:04pm
Is it possible to make it so that only the white parts of the armor can be recolored?
theothersteve7  [author] 16 Dec, 2022 @ 7:21pm
Should work fine with CE. Just inherits the properties directly from cataphract armor.
Drasath 16 Dec, 2022 @ 7:04pm
CE?

This armor is a delight, thanks for adding it! Castlevania Techno-Dracula energy is real, and I love it.

Improved the textures. Higher resolution and a slightly improved style.

Thanks for pointing that out! I fixed it today. Good catch!

This might be a typo or a mistake, currently sanguine armor INCREASES flamability, rather than reduce it. It adds 50% to flamability, or in otherwords, anyone wearing the armor would be 50% more flamable. I assume this was either a typo, or a error. Thanks!

i like the dark lord look you gave it may not look high quality but it feels high quality you did good
