I decided against retexturing other modders work unless they specifically ask me for it. It's their vision.
thus with [AV] Tribal Mechlink and [AV] Sparkling jade it is totally feasible to tribal-y manage a selection of mechanoids.
[AV] Mechanoid orbital traders would also give way to getting these lil fellas without needing any fancy tech, just as quest rewards or as ancient dangers loot.
meaning it should be feasible to do a "tribal mechanitor"... unless I've mistaken some part I guess.
oh well, eager to see any potential future developments for non-mechanical mechanoid retexturing!
I'm also unsure if I should make the offensive mechanoids slimes or not.
There's a bunch of reskin ideas in my head and I don't know what to choose. We'll see.
Yet I love this mod.

Damn, I couldn't contain myself and I ended up reading all 49 chapters in one sitting. Now I'm left starved for more.
I really like Fall's (Crags Tribe, Toothy, guy seems to have a different name for every person he knows) design on later chapters, reminds me a lot of Jason Brody from Far Cry 3, one of my favorite games ever. His whole character reminds me of Jason really, which is awesome.
And your artstyle improved massively is just 2 years. Like, holy shit. Though I assume it was much faster to tell the story with the old one.

Also, I can't wait to be attacked by super kawaii killing machines.
I'm working on more Rimworld comics for now, then I'll do a reskin for the mechanoid armors and finally the big mechanoids. I already have the design for the scyther and and Lancer.
Armor is going to look like the armor from the Naki Har Mod.
I can already envision more mods like this changing the mechanoids to other themes like golems and / or undead and / or demons (for those wanting a medieval fantasy playthrough with mechanoids) and other options.
Not yet I'm sorry, I have a lot of drawings queued. But as my rimworld comic series continues, I'll add retextures inspired from it.
I prefer to keep the slime type mechanoids to a utility role instead of combat.
If there's somehting I'd like to try, is to reskin the mech lord armor.
