It seems to have failed in 1.2

Does not work with the new music player. The mod still functions fine I think, but it makes the tracks not list correctly in the music player that was added in 1.2

Come to think of it, Victoria 2's remastered soundtracks are only included in pre-order rewards, so it would not be right to include it in mod. I'll delete it.

Is this mod supposed to have the mp3 sound files in it ? Because I don't think Paradox would like that....

There is an opinion that jingles should not be removed, so this function will be separated into submod.

Would it be possible to make a mod that not only removes the technology unlocked jingle, but also removes the pause for the music when it plays? I am fine with just getting the pop-up and the mechanical noise sound effect, but hearing the technology music chime cut off the background music over and over again is aggravating.

its at least almost tolerable in ck3 bc the events are happening on a personal character level basis and are a lot less infrequent (though the war interruptions can get annoying), but in vicky something happens to interrupt the music like every 2 seconds. tech unlocked? interruption, law passed? interruption, election? interruption. llike im trying to vibe to the soundtracks that get me immersed in the period but I get get ripped out of it by hearing the same damn thing 500 times getting in the way.

I suppose there is no way to prevent music interruption in cases like an event or new technology being unlocked. But removing the pause between BGM still work. If it doesn't work, try placing this mod at the bottom of another any BGM mod. Thanks.
