I have not added in lang files for any of the added alternate structures, so all of them will have names like that.

Noticed a weird issue. Looks like the Macroengineering test sites are missing names. Macro_test_site_0a is what it populates in game with. Entity Name giga_test_site_stage_1_entity_con. Have been working with gigastructures mod as i thought it may have been a weird bug with them but they believe its from this mod.

you are going to want to put in is_ai = no there however if you haven't updated to the version I put out, as otherwise the AI will spam the level 0 megastructure

Fixed the star lifter on my side

Line 34 of "zz_e_star_lifter"

"is_ai = yes"

remove this entire line and you are able construct them again, for some reason they were specified to ONLY be buildable by AI

Alright for some reason when I checked today I found out that it had somehow deleted the entire megastructures folder without putting it into the recycling bin right before I uploaded it so now I have to redo the entire thing

I was able to build several dyson spheres so that is odd. Aren't mod conflicts just wonderful? lol

it would also appear this mod is no longer allowing me to build dyson sphere sites, i can still make the swams and upgrade them however in binary/trinary systems I am forced to disable it and load the save to make em

Apologies for bugging ya again, but I noticed that Star Lifters oddly enough don’t appear in the megastructure build list with this mod enabled. I was able to work around this by temporarily disabling the mod, relaunching the game, building the Star Lifter site now that it appears, and then re-enabling the mod. If I find any more oddities, I'll let ya know

Asteroid Assembly Sites are not present, correct. Winter break has just now started as of today, so I will probably update it within a week or so. Might also get around to figuring out how to deal with all of the scripting that they have been moving into.

I am unable build more than one Asteroid Assembly Site at a time because "Megastructure construction already queued."

I am able to construct other types of megastructures several at a time, which clarifies that the mod is working. I'm guessing the issue is that the Asteroid Assembly Site is new and just hasn't been included yet.


BTW, college is way more important than updating a random mod for a game online, so please don't try to squeeze in time that doesn't exist to fix this small issue. This is a problem that can wait.

Gigas APs were recently reworked and the Alderson AP no longer exists, this issue probably also applies to the Systemcraft

Alright so I am not sure as to why, but currently after the most recent gigas update this mod does not allow construction of the alderson disc

I am aware that a lot is different, this is primarily due to the fact that I have not updated this to reflect changes to Gigastructures since either 3.11 or 3.12, I do not even remember which. I am going to work on it tomorrow, though I cannot promise that any of the structures that use scripting will work since I am not as familiar with them.

So having gone through most of the overrides, you may want to do a side by side comparison with your code and all the code from Giga's that you're overwriting because I noticed a lot was different in some files; the macro engineering station is a good example. Plus, you have a bunch of files that you made no additions (namely, all the damaged mega structures) but are still overwriting the Giga's file.

Could you add the outliner_trigger code from Giga's into your patch? It's kinda tedious to have to go through every single mega structure entry to re-add it since it's missing from your code. The lines in question are:

outliner_trigger = {
exists = owner
NOT = {
has_megastructure_flag = giga_outliner_hidden_by_@owner
}
}

Thanks, don't need to worry about uninstalling it now. Not sure what the issue was with the asteroid industrial site but after the first stage of it was completed it wouldn't give the option to further upgrade and finish it. I did notice that it was giving the option to build the asteroid industrial site on asteroids were it shouldn't be able to be built, maybe the issue has something to deal with resources on the asteroid but I have no clue, just speculating.

I have temporarily removed the override for the asteroid industrial site so that it can be built normally, but you can still only build one at a time unfortunately

It is safe to uninstall if no AIs are currently building the first stage of a megastructure, I have been working on trying to figure out why asteroid industrial sites are not working recently but have not been able to figure out why, as everything I look at seems like it should be working fine.

Anybody know if this mod is safe to uninstall mid play-through(I figure it would be ok)? Want to build most the other megastructures, then uninstall and see if I can build those asteroid industrial sites I've been skipping over since they're bugged atm.

Matrioshka Brains have been fixed (I completely forgot that they were broken until I saw somebody mention it on the Gigastructures discord)

I have uploaded this change, sorry about not noticing it earlier. I do not actually check every single megastructure to see if it is working properly every update, only when there is a specific thing that is broken.

There's a .bak file called "geothermal stabilizer" that appears just below the geothermal stabilizer text file in your mod that prevents the player from being able to build the geothermal stabilizer at all. I know, because I deleted the file and can now build geothermal stabilizers again.

I love this mod by the way, I couldn't stand one at a timing all this stuff. Thanks!

the matrioshka O class brain is also not working for this but no rush (this could also be my side I havnt tested it much)
