how about a small wood-fueled one :)
would be nice not to rely on electricity when planning to build your own home out in the forest for example ^^

Hopefully this mod will be updated for Build 42, it is one of my favorite mods. Please, when possible, I would love you to update it :)

what if there was a chance houses spawned with electric heaters? with campsites and military sites potentially spawning outdoor and small heaters.
HESENI 14.7.2024 klo 0.14
With this mod can I uninstall vehicle heaters?
ZEnicko 1.7.2024 klo 17.23
I think this one is not working again since it didn't change since last update
Dachsie_Drella 24.6.2024 klo 16.25
I'm new to PZ so i'm not sure if it's possible but can you spawn these in the game and if so what is their item ID?
Maqsud101 15.6.2024 klo 12.49
Maybe one day we get coolers too.
RawJah 8.5.2024 klo 14.18
Dont use this mod. Mod-Creator only used us to beta-test his mod that he would fix for his RP-Server but never fix in the Workshop, although he promised to do so multiple times.

Error on this mod

Electric heater seems to run out of charge as if battery powered rather than being powered by the grid. Any particular known cause for this problem?
Senpaii 12.4.2024 klo 22.06
how lore accurate are heaters
Он Там Путин 10.2.2024 klo 21.06
i have an issue where i can only have one set of heaters going at once. let me explain, i have my main house (the place i live in), and my workshop with roof farm. they´re two seperate buildings and they are relatively big. i need two generators to cover that ground, which is not a problem since the workshop barely uses any fuel. However, when i use the heaters in one building, the other ones turns off and the turn on/off functing in the tooltip menu dissapears. in order to switch heater set i have to open debug mode, and delete and reset the heaters, this problem occurs randomly, i cant seem to figure what the trigger is. just wanted to let u know.
Nepenthe 7.1.2024 klo 16.13
For me, electrical heaters are working but it's very important that they get placed in a location where no other items have a "turn on" option - then they can be right clicked and turned on. If any other object that can be turned on/off is too close they seem to fight over who gets the "turn on" tooltip.

Once started the heat effect is immediate, so you'll know if it's working by looking at the temperature reading on your digital watch as it will jump from being cold to 22.4°C, decreasing with distance.

Form looking at the code if they work for you but then stop working try picking them up and putting them down on a different tile.

Since the mod seems abandoned, i have applied the fix provided by @Diakon and @replicator0 and uploaded the fixed mod here:

is it possible to create air conditioners in the game with a negative heatTemperature value?

Electric heaters ran on my grid but then ran out of charge (which they are not supposed to have?) and won't work no more
Lavitz420 28.8.2023 klo 6.03
Where is the command found to even craft the electric heater???
ReZpawner 24.8.2023 klo 6.46
Electrical heaters do not work. They are absolutely not running on any grid.
Diakon 21.8.2023 klo 8.18
There is a bug in the removal of batteries from the small outdoor heater, and it's caused by a duplicated entry:
recipe Remove Battery
{
keep SAPPHEATER.OutdoorHeater,

Result:CarBattery2,
time:60,
onTest: <--

OnTest:Recipe.OnTest.TorchBatteryRemoval,
OnCreate:Recipe.OnCreate.OutdoorHeaterBatteryRemoval,
}
It lets you generate infinite car batteries using the small outdoor heater
RawJah 14.8.2023 klo 16.22
This mod is broken if you are only interested in the electric heaters. The problem was found and explained to the modder who promised a fix multple times, but instead they never came. He probably fixed this mod to use it on his own RP-Server, but never uploaded a fix on the workshop. Although he said he would, multiple times.
Krilton 20.7.2023 klo 9.38
As replicator0 stated a few pages back about a "dirty" fix for the SP, that does not work. I tried it, the "remaining" bar stays full but overnight the temperature dropped from 72F (~40C) to 62F (~33C). Note that these electric heaters had already be "built" prior to the change. So, I'm going to make another one and see what happens. Will update with findings...
HaddockGER 13.7.2023 klo 12.16
The larger in-home heaters do not run off of your base electricity or solar mod in MP. Can y plz fix it?
Revolution 8.7.2023 klo 19.11
I'm seeing a lot of folks saying the heaters run out of energy and "break". Do they not get power from a local grid? I'm running the solar mod and can run ovens and fridges, TVs and radios but not the heater. I'm guessing thats because its two individual mods, but is there a way to force the electrical heaters to take advantage of a local solar power source?
Ombree 26.6.2023 klo 14.33
it doesnt work in MP. It seems like it works at first but it doesn't.
Elf Main Big Brain 25.6.2023 klo 4.51
Works very poorly in MP. Seems like it can just randomly stop working for some players. For example one player on a server saw his temp at -24C, while the other could sit at around +20C. After picking heater up it completely broke for another player. None of the heaters seem to work at all now and no amount of things I did fixed it.

Electric Heaters temperature too low
Jane Helldiver 14.5.2023 klo 19.09
Sorry to report, but this mod is MOSTLY broken.

The two battery heaters will work just fine, but if you let the battery run all the way out, you will lose the battery for good. You must regularly (often daily) remove the battery, replace it, and keep them recharging in order to maintain a working small indoor or outdoor heater.

The larger in-home heaters do NOT run off of your base electricity for very long. They too seem to be limited by the battery used.

It's weird, but they DO work of the house electricity, draining either gas from a generator or electricity from Immersive Solar arrays, but the battery inside also drains just like with the small heaters.

This translates to a few days of running, and if you are lucky a few weeks.

They seem to die and become in-operating at random. I've had 3 electric batteries die after just a day of use in the winter, and others last for several weeks.
Audiostorm 19.4.2023 klo 7.46
Now we also need the opposite. AC for summer
Volume 8.3.2023 klo 6.25
can you find them in the world like generators?
Mackleaman 27.2.2023 klo 2.32
I think it will be good idea add sandbox option to change durability of heaters, with option to make electric heater infinity
super friendly josh 20.2.2023 klo 9.09
I see errors
Honest ClarkVT 18.2.2023 klo 21.45
I assume what people mean by the electric heaters breaking is that it "runs out" of "fuel"
ParasiticSquid 10.2.2023 klo 11.15
According to the comments the mods heaters will break after about 3 months. Sounds like it needs to be fixed but with how long it's been since the last update according to steam it's looking unlikely it will be anytime soon, if at all. Which is pretty dang unfortunate since this is one of the more promising heater mods I can find so far
DrakoMT 10.2.2023 klo 6.49
Nice mod , I read the comments and tested for bugs and I found that after 3 months the regular indoors heat dies. I;m guessing you have to give it a bit more lifetime/fuel time?
BLAZEPK 7.2.2023 klo 8.48
It's impossible to rely on this heater.
Sgt. Giggle Mittens 5.2.2023 klo 15.29
the heaters seem to completely die randomly. I have one that has lasted 3 months being used off and on in conjunction with a fire place, and one that died after I turned it on and went to sleep right after making it...

seems random, heaters don't work like that, I have real life electric heaters that have lasted years
