I know you're busy updating stuff - so no rush - but I really look forwards to using this mod again!
Great work.
No:

It will be updated, but it is lagging behind everything else.
It is being worked on it but things are delaying it.
A: It doesn't. The game already does that, the mod just asks the game if it's day or night."
Really dude? Please dont put up contradictory answers, its annoying, especially to your own proposed questions.
As for the mod itself . Great addition! :D
Thanks for this lovely mod !
Like other lighting presets this can only be changed by officers. The new presets will only show if an officer is selected.
From the description.
Please remember that the mod launcher is not smart enough to tell if a mod is broken, the "out of date" notification is just a simple version checker.
Functionally that is how it went but not conceptually. The idea for Realistic Light Modes and Quiet Mode was all Freekoly's. Not that I didn't bring my own ideas to the table (it was my decision to split it into 2 mods), but Freekoly's ideas were definitely the impetus.
Most of my "realistic" mods are someone else coming to me that's already done all the research for the historical accuracy, then I implement it.
Yes, I should have written this in the bug section, I'm sorry for that :(
Cannot replicate the issue. With those config settings: I loaded a game, Auto White-Red-Blue was active. I turned on the alarm, changed to silent running, then turned the alarm back off and the lights immediately changed.
I'll try to replicate that. I may need a saved game where this has occurred.
That is assuming it stays broken after save/load, but that would be useful information in and of itself.
Is it failing to resume auto-switching after the alarm is off?
If not, then that's just Alarm disables Autoswitch being set to true and working as designed.
Been looking at the output log, but i cant find anything related to errors.
And yes, this seems to occur when the alarm is ON
I can't duplicate what you describe.
I put the light on auto white-red dove to 7m put the light on blue, dove to 20m, put light on auto white-red-blue and went back up to decks awash and the light changed back to red (it was night).
Are there any errors in your log? Is the alarm active?
By default Alarm Disables Autoswitch is True
I have a few other mods, but none of them should mess with the ilumination in the uboat.
There are no conflicts with Iron Coffins that I'm aware of.
The mod was test mostly with Iron Coffins enabled, but if you find any issue please post about it.
I don't know if there exists a good way to notify the player of issues like these. Maybe not: even if you added the change to the JSON description so it appeared in the loader, I would've missed it.
Looks like the UBOAT mod system is mature enough for "Dependency hell" to become a thing, lol
