naughtybynature I think what you experience can be produced also if your procesor doesn't have enough power, a problem for newer ones with more cores, use the trick that changes the power to only two or three cores , end task , details , shogun2.exe then set affinity for cores and set also priority to high . Shogun 2 is known to need more core frequency than cores . Also better graphics will drain processor power also to feed the graphic card .

naughtybynature , You have another mod that does that , or other mod corrupted your data folder , this mod changes only the castle maps. The problem you speak is a known one in the community and there are mods that can fix it, just search for sound fix in mod database.

Why does this increase the sound of archers? It sounds horrible. I have to unsub, sorry.

Shineblind , the level 4 and 5 castles are the same on fots as vanilla ? I haven't played any campaign .

No, only Sengoku Jidai , you can see from images that the landscape is from that period , I don't play fots .

does it work for FOTS?

Also matchlock won't hit archers on walls , you need my mod that gives them fort wall penetration.

Everybody...... , watch out and subscribe to part 2 also , otherwise you won't have all the new castles on campaign map .
